2 drops with 11 receptions is a lot. It’s not time to hit the panic button because he is probably not in game shape yet but if by two more games he doesn’t play better then he was a massive waste of money
This is my first time seeing the all 22. It looks like purdy wants to throw to BA but isn't sure where he is gonna go. In slowmo it looks like BA doesn't either, his feet shuffle at the top of the route to either go deep or cut midfield
"There's some communication stuff that we talked about." "How are we on the same page so I can let that go." Purdy doesn't want to publicly call out his WR but I think he insinuating that next time that happens, BA needs to throw his F'ing hands up to let his Qb know that he's open running to the post.
Brock saw him though and was already looking his way. The hand wasn’t the issue, it was BA going off script and Brock didn’t anticipate it because of their lack of chemistry given Aiyuk’s holdout. As a QB, it’s hard to pull the trigger on a throw that you didn’t anticipate because if you’re late it may be picked off or the WR takes a big hit. Hence the reason Brock mentioned that he didn’t know where the safety was and he was just trying to protect the football given the situation where getting any type of points likely means the 9ers win. Brock did the right thing but so did Aiyuk. Unfortunately it didn’t work out.
The thing is, if it was tight, then Brock made the right decision. A pick there likely ends the game. He also preceded to get his team into scoring position, but Bell dropped the pass. There is also no guarantee Ayuik catches that either. He's dropped as many as he caught.
Brock was gun shy at that moment. Period! I don't think Brock and Brandon lost their chemistry in 6 months. Heck they were just clicking this past Feb 24 in the superbowl... brock was scared to throw it.
It’s funny how everyone can see the safety on tape but if you were on the field it’s a different view. Of course you could see the safety. Try standing behind the line and diagnosing the whole play. Brock is a straight forward guy. I’ve never seen him side step or mislead a question. As far as BA goes, I’m sure he will start getting going again. He has already proven he is reliable. Now it’s time to be faithful, ….FAITHFUL!
They showed a low angle replay, behind Brock and looking downfield… the referee - dressed with white top and dark pants, same color scheme as the Rams - is playing centerfield. Brock won’t say it publicly but he read the ref as the deep safety.
There was TV replay, with the low camera angle behind purdy, that showed the Referee playing deep center field… Brock clearly saw the referee as the “deep safety” and didn’t feel good about the throw.
it's more about experience ... Brock will get there. He's listens to his coach so I think he wanted to be conservative and do what he's been coached to do. He is not a gunslinger ... yet.
One camp and y'all act like he needs more practice..this bs. Kyle just mad and purdy has to listen to him point blank. Brady, Rodgers or anyone else that has free will would have thrown the ball🤷♂️
I’m so tired of this topic… you’re a good content creator and should have football knowledge on busted plays and how things work… I know a bunch of people with little to no football knowledge have made a big deal out of it but all QBs miss an open receiver from time to time… especially busted coverage… shouldn’t even be a topic
With the contract he signed he should be producing above average numbers regardless. CeeDee lamb was in a contact dispute do you see him producing less than average numbers. BA should’ve been keeping himself in game shape while he was waiting for his contract. He got game breaker money play like it and pass him the ball.
Would b different if Brock called a hot route for BA or he was told post if the curl isn’t open , he throws that ball all of a sudden aiyuk is going a different way “bad throw by brock”
"A new situation for myself and everyone in the room"....??? So Aiyuk has decided to start running his own plays out there? And Purdy is being a gentleman about it in front of the media?

@@dh1382 he throws in tight windows with anticipation, BA was off script and i think Purdy wasn't sure about the route breakdown and waited just a second too long and felt he couldn't get it down there fast enough
This is just confidence in Brock, throwing the ball deep to Brandon that’s all this is Brock wasn’t confident in the ability to let is rip. Not different if it was Trey Lance not letting it rip.
It was also kind of a long throw, and with the way the receivers were dropping passes all day, it was not a guaranteed completion. Brock made the right decision to protect the ball, and try to make the first down! Had Jimmy G made the same decision in the Super Bowl by throwing to a wide open Kittle for the 1st instead of overthrowing Emanuel Sanders on the post, the 49ers might have won that game.😂
I still don't understand why he didn't throw it. The samething happened last week and he definitely seen it on tape. the rams were also trying to mimick what the vikings did last week or mayhe this is their new defense with shula. He didn't see the safety because he wasn't there. And even if he was running to it from the middle of the field you lead aiyuk away from him towards the sideline a bit and you got a walk in td (if aiyuk catches it). I don't get it, he was able to find juice and hit him with no hesitation in the NFCCG and that was alot more difficult. Juice was supposed to run a deep corner route and instead got shoved so far inside that it turned into a crosser. Just sucks, purdy and jennings played so great it was a statement game for both of them but 2 missed opportunities (fumble before halftime, wide open aiyuk) changes this game from a win to a loss. Because of his special teams defense and some bad drops. Now we are 1-2 during the easiest stretch of this entrie schedule I definitely wasn't expecting this coming into this year.
@@andrewthompson10 If he was worried about the middle field safety, he could've just did what he always does and lead him away from the middle field. It's week 3, i'm not sitting here trying to rip him for that especially since i know he never passes those kinds of plays up. I just really wish he would've hit it, it would've capped off his statement game. D was bad, ST's was bad, missing 3 stars, Aiyuk still working back to all-pro status, same with Williams, plus all the drops we had, Mason was having a bad day. If it wasn't for that 18 yard run he was barely averaging 3 yards a carry. It wasn't a great game for the whole team besides purdy and jennings and he would've gotten 100% credit for carrying this team to a win.
@@andrewthompson10 That Ravens game was pretty flukie though right? Only one of those 4 picks was really on purdy for making a "bad" decision. Kittle didn't get proper depth on his corner route to keep Hamilton honest in his coverage so he jumped a pass that should've been wide open to deebo flr a td on that first drive. Then the 2 tipped ints, one of them was the screen pass that MacDonald could a double DB blitz on. Purdy pump faked him got him jumping then tried to fit it around him or over him and it got tipped to the other blitzing DB, that was just the wrong play at the wrong time. Then he tried hitting kittle on a scramble drill and Hamilton got away with early contact on kittle to knock that ball away and was picked again off the tip. Then the last one was McCaffrey on a option route, McCaffrey chooses to either stop and turn around like a short curl route/checkdown, cut out or cut in and he choose cut in so him and purdy weren't on the same page and the ball was behind McCaffrey for a pick. Purdy had pressure getting to him also and had to dump it off to his checkdown which was McCaffrey and just wasn't on the same page as purdy.
Anybody that was dogging Purdy for not throwing that ball would have just as quickly 💩 all over him if it got picked or was incomplete and Jennings was open. At the end of the day he made the best choice which was take what defense was giving and don’t turn it over.
Whtever, Im sure Mahomes would have made that throw regardless of how much training camp Aiyuk missed. He was open. It’s amazing how people turn themselves into pretzels trying to make excuses for Purdy while adding backhanded comments about BA
Completely agree about BA - he's lost some of his swagger out there. There's a tentativeness to him now it seems. He should start wearing his streamer again too - i miss it, he used to look so sick and smooth.
Dude...why didn't he throw it to i drop them in the endzone BA?? And you said he threw it to "someone else" that someone else was the FED EX player of the week number 15. Yes...he saved the niners from a HUGELY embarrassing game. Only mildly embarrassing. You take the one home from the dance who you took there!! JJ is now WR1. NO DOUBT!
That sounds like complete BS. The play broke down, the receiver got open, throw the ball Brock! He just doesn’t trust BA right now because of the drops.
Brock is so gracious, but he can't speak freely without causing issues. Brock clearly reads that BA is behind the defense. He "doesn't know where the safety is" because coverage is blown that bad there is no safety on that side of the Mississippi. He doesn't pull the trigger because the trust isn't there. Why? BA had dropped more than half of his passes that game so do I gamble in a game saving situation with a guy that hasn't been locked in all game? IDGAF how open he is he's not getting a target unless he's on route where he's supposed to be and I'm second guessing that.
@@ShaunHensley I didn't really believe it till this game and could not come to any other conclusion. Just watch the end of the game the drop by bell looked intentional, the blown coverage, the wide open BA for a td with Purdy looking right at him to end the game, and the poor excuse of what looked like and intentional missed tackle on the punt return together the rams basically in game winning field goal range just way to obvious in my opinion. Rematch it tell me if I'm that far off!
Great quarterbacks would have seen and thorwn the ball to Aiyuk. They see unexpected opportunities and exploit them. Aiyuk has totally sucked because he missed training camp. He's got all that money now but he's playing terrible. I've seen this a lot. Missing training camp is a big mistake. I'm sick of you reporters apologizing for this selfish jerk. I bet he never has a good game all season. But he's got the money!! That's all that matters to players now days.
That is bogus you can see that the safety is over to the other side. I don't believe that. Brock isn't stupid he knows what to say sounds like he was coached up
@theeALister first of all, he waited until now to address after countless coaching on how to handle it because he knows he messed up. He has made off schedule passes since last year, but now it's an issue. Stop it. Last year, in the biggest game of his life, he forced it to deebo when deebo was injured. But when aoyuk during a regular season game is Hella open even in pee wee we coach them to make that pass. I'm not buying this nonsense. I think Brock is a good qb for us, but let's be real people.
Thats a cover up because honestly the entire play was broken broken for a while at that point because Purdy was scrambling around like a little kid on school playground buying time to find someone...If Aiyuk did have a designated route it was blown up long before that because Purdy didnt have time to let it unfold because of the bad pass protection...We saw these types of broken plays that him & Aiyuk connected on several times last year...Just be honest Aiyuks not your guy this year because he held out & Shanahan feels the same and answers those questions very witty to change the obvious narrative however creating the false narrative that BA is going rogue in the system now all of a sudden....Once again the play was broken at that point find a open guy💯
Run the play right BA !!! This ain’t the BA show !!!! Be we’re your suppost to be !!!! BA can’t get open or he’s jelious of Jennings !! This street ball shit ain’t working BA !!! Do what your paid to do !!!!
I don't believe in that explanation from Purdy. I think Aiyuk is getting a pay back for all the controversy for the contract and for missing pre-season
no I ,don’t buy into, that it’s a lie brock lied as a quarterback it doesn’t matter that you need to know where the guy is gonna go. If he’s wide open out way down the field waiting for the ball doesn’t matter which way he’s gonna go what matters is he catches the ball. he gains a few yards to get into field position or go all the way down so no, quarterbacks over the years they don’t worry about where the guys gonna go , that’s a toss off. excuse he was was freezing Brandon out and he knows it. The goal of any quarterback is to get the ball into the hands of the receiver and then let the receiver do his magic and Brandon was clear out in the open three times and didn’t throw to him because he’s probably going by Kyle script and basically he’s on a tight leash. like a dog. The quarterback if that’s the case and he’s one of these quarterbacks that doesn’t need to be coached It’s the coach that needs to be coached by the quarterback, he’s Tom Brady 2.0 in Development those type of quarterbacks are elite quarterbacks and they don’t need to be told what to do on the field. He’s got a lot of experience on the field specially in the college so long story short he froze Brandon out and it did it on purpose. There is something to note bosa was recently interviewed in the locker room the way he said Kyle System. He said it kind of sarcastically. I have a feeling that there are some players on the team that think it’s a Kyle problem they’re just not willing to say it openly , I think it’s the defensive coordinator and the special teams Coordinator issue and those two need to go right now. Kyle would just be a bonus at this point dude wins three NFC championships and no Super Bowl ring. I’ve moved on from that guy goodbye Kyle make sure the door doesn’t slam at your ass on the way out.
🤣🤣 Whatever, bro. Mr. conspiracy theory. A smart QB protects the ball and doesn't throw if something doesn't make sense or doesn't look right. It looked too good to be true, which made him suspicious that it might be a trap. Not too far fetched at all. The QB also doesn't have multiple camera angles and overhead view to work with.

2 drops with 11 receptions is a lot. It’s not time to hit the panic button because he is probably not in game shape yet but if by two more games he doesn’t play better then he was a massive waste of money

Brock is still learning. Some learn faster then others but he’ll get better at it
This is my first time seeing the all 22.
So much open spaces for Kyle and so is Aiyuk that Purdy was aware to be that open space for that throw he was going to.🤦🏻
Love the hat, where can I get one ?
I'm not worried. Give him maybe 2 more weeks BA be alright.
BA will be fine, and back to normal.
Exactly 💯
I’m so tired of this topic… you’re a good content creator and should have football knowledge on busted plays and how things work… I know a bunch of people with little to no football knowledge have made a big deal out of it but all QBs miss an open receiver from time to time… especially busted coverage… shouldn’t even be a topic
With the contract he signed he should be producing above average numbers regardless. CeeDee lamb was in a contact dispute do you see him producing less than average numbers.
BA should’ve been keeping himself in game shape while he was waiting for his contract. He got game breaker money play like it and pass him the ball.
Not making that pass is inexcusable‼️ got the faithful, faithfully hating on Aiyuk without watching all 22 film 😅
Would b different if Brock called a hot route for BA or he was told post if the curl isn’t open , he throws that ball all of a sudden aiyuk is going a different way “bad throw by brock”
tldr; Brock saw BA get open, but Brock didn't exactly trust BA made the right choice.
They been playing together for 3 years now
He should’ve thrown it they do this all the time the quarterback always tells you to go to open space there is no excuse
He just said, if it was Jennings he still wouldn't have thrown it .yes BA missed camp and it was a problem but this ain't one of them...Brock said so
"A new situation for myself and everyone in the room"....??? So Aiyuk has decided to start running his own plays out there? And Purdy is being a gentleman about it in front of the media?
So brandon aiyuk is running the wrong routes now? Man i cant believe we paid him! Dropping dots and running the wrong routes!
Now hes wearing the wrong shorts?? Wth wrong with this dude?

You went to a great game! Very happy for you!
@@emb5091 thanks alot !
He doesn’t throw to wide open Aiyuk cause Aiyuk drops balls !!!
I think a lot of qb would took a chance and capitalize on that!
That's the first time I've heard of not throwing to someone because they were too open,so why? Must be a trick? How can that make sense?really?look at the camera
Let me translate for everyone, (Aiyuk has had some downright awful drops, and he definitely needs to act more like a team leader, but I'll never call him out in public. But u better believe I've given him 30 million $ worth of ass chewings in private.)
I don’t think Aiyuk was open. If Brock threw that pass the rams safety was looking the whole time and would’ve closed in quickly.
You must not watch football. If you did, you would see how many tight throws Brock makes on game day.
Bruh you cant see
i agree .. not sure the ball would have traveled down field fast enough to get to BA before the safety could make a jump on it..
Exactly!
BA: 119/11 catches
Debo (Missed a game): 164/13
People can fuck off with BA is better.
Some people are all upset about their fantasy team. I'm not.
Nobody talks about the issues with Aiyuk salary negotiations. I am pretty sure he is being paid off by the coach
He's trying to avoid games like against the Ravens last year (multiple interceptions). Watching out for tricks from the safeties.
@@MVPURDYSZN The game had a big effect on Purdy, and he looked spooked the rest of the season.
Now he's back, and sharper than ever.
On the off chance he did throw that ball Aiyuk probably would have dropped it or the ball would probably have been picked off
A top 5 QB makes that throw....let it go Brock 😂
He's top 3
Just get the ball into your player makers hands and let them cook...
Anybody that was dogging Purdy for not throwing that ball would have just as quickly 💩 all over him if it got picked or was incomplete and Jennings was open.
At the end of the day he made the best choice which was take what defense was giving and don’t turn it over.
Because the play call wasn’t for him And Brock doesn’t trust him right now he’s dropped every damn pass Brock is throwing to him this season damn near
Purdy doesn't trust Aiyuk anymore
For real it’s because he didn’t and doesn’t trust him. How many drops did Brandon have already that game.
Purdy is not like that
Stop putting words in his mouth like you know him personally. Brock is a stand-up leader who doesn't follow everyone else's narrative.
He kept throwing the ball to bell... whats your point??
@@ryanjones875 You're right. He's better than that.
FACTSZ💯 @@maurice1290
Whtever, Im sure Mahomes would have made that throw regardless of how much training camp Aiyuk missed. He was open. It’s amazing how people turn themselves into pretzels trying to make excuses for Purdy while adding backhanded comments about BA
Yeah yeah. Mahomos has the refs.
He still would’ve got the win if bell didn’t drop an easy ball or did you forget that
@@marcomayorga3482 you must be scatterbrained since you could not stay on topic
His football IQ should have prepared him for the situation and he has played enough football to realize that so stop with the excuses.
NO DOUBT!
I'm trying to tell yall Petty Kyle wants to prove a point. To show him hey, weve got other guys....but BA is always open. I mean the tape don't lie.
This can happen ooooh let's say, someone misses all of training camp?
Why are you repeating what he said.? We heard exactly what you heard.
That sounds like complete BS. The play broke down, the receiver got open, throw the ball Brock! He just doesn’t trust BA right now because of the drops.
BA shouldn't trust him with all them high ass balls he be throwing
quyik needs to throw his hand up to signify broken route and open
Sounds about right.
Yall better be force feeding him next game fantasy managers coming for his head
Simple, because the game was fixed obviously there is no question about it.
🎯
If you really think games are fixed, it's pretty lame to continue to watch and comment and expend any time or energy into following nfl
If 9ers offered BA 28 before the off season he would probably have signed it. This is on the Front office,
That is bogus you can see that the safety is over to the other side. I don't believe that. Brock isn't stupid he knows what to say sounds like he was coached up
I think that Brock was mostly being honest until Grant’s follow up question, which is where I think he was definitely trying to protect his teammate.
It was single high safety the safety cheated to the right side of the field
Purdy didn’t throw to a wide open Aiyuk in the Super Bowl either so what’s the point
He basically was scared to get picked
Mahomes would have pulled the trigger
Not sure what the excuse is same page or not I don't think that's a good reason sorry
You obviously think Purdy is petty, which you probably are!
We are not playing the game so we do not know what he sees
Bullshit, Aaron Rogers would have threw that
I swear kyle shannahan told you guys that right after the game. Initially he was running a curl route.
makes no sense ! open receiver gets the ball !
no I ,don’t buy into, that it’s a lie brock lied as a quarterback it doesn’t matter that you need to know where the guy is gonna go.
The goal of any quarterback is to get the ball into the hands of the receiver and then let the receiver do his magic and Brandon was clear out in the open three times and didn’t throw to him because he’s probably going by Kyle script and basically he’s on a tight leash. like a dog.
The quarterback if that’s the case and he’s one of these quarterbacks that doesn’t need to be coached
It’s the coach that needs to be coached by the quarterback, he’s Tom Brady 2.0 in Development those type of quarterbacks are elite quarterbacks and they don’t need to be told what to do on the field.
Smh I don't like that excuse because it all boils down to practice and training camp...I promise you this year is a bust...smh...Madden curse is very real...why idk?...but it's affecting the 49ers this year
That drama queen’s head and heart no longer in SF!
This all stems from Shanahan! He's a great football mind with zero people skills!!!
