    This same IBB who said last year, that Atiku and Tinubu can't fix Nigeria. He said the nation needs a younger man in his early 60s.

    Whenever I listen to ex presidents and leaders dish out advice on how best to move the nation forward, I shake my head. They once had the opportunity to put things right but they all failed. Babangida scuttled our '93 hope mandate, Obasanjo bottled the goodwill of the International community because he was preoccupied with third term ambition, the Buhari disaster would not have come about if Goodluck Jonathan was able to address the cascade of issues his administration faced. We are products of their bad choices and their maladministration. These people should hide their faces because they have all failed us. Posterity will judge them all.

    No need for election again na; let's close down INEC, and always ask an outgoing govt to handpick a smart candidate who can fix the nation. What's the point spending over 305 billion on election and wasting the time of 200 million citizens. We can throw away our constitution since 200 million people will always have different opinions on every issue. What's the point wasting the time of the judges at the tribunal and the supreme court. Let's dismantle all those and go the way of picking smart candidates who can fix the nation every four years.

    Once, a drug lord always a drug lord. Of course, he will support his fellow drug dealer. Otherwise, i see no reason why old men will be so shameless and heartless, to lie this way. Assuming, we chose to overlook the criminal lifestyle of Tinubu. Are we also, going to overlook the fact that he is no longer young and strong for such a demanding task, and can no longer handle such responsibilities? A man who can barely walk, or speak, is definitely not going to fix any nation let alone the one Buhari has destroyed in eight years. We all, know that Tinubu won't be the one making decisions or ruling Nigeria. Let's, call a spade a spade. All, of them who wants to hold unto power are hiding behind Tinubu even when they know that he is not the one that will be in power.

    Though, he was ruthless & didn't improve the economy in his time, but he is one of my favourite leaders because he's a true Nigerian who didn't permit unrest, terrorism, religiosity, sectionalism & unusual embezzlement. Unlike Buhari, he wasn't tribalistic & a religious bigot. Babangida together with Abacha invested so much in infrastructure, roads & created states to open up the economy & enhance development. If Buhari really meant well for Nigeria, Osinbajo would've been an easy pick. But for factors that are stupid & divisive, they chose their type to further waste the country.

      Yemi Osinbajo was one out of many products of Bola Tinubu's leadership and politics.
      You should, yourself, try your very best to see beyond your bias.
      And Ibrahim Babangida did the terrible worst to this country by annulling the freest and fairest election ever conducted and recorded in the country. He deserves no commendation for anything.

      @@jimifash Mr Jimi, the bias is more on your side. Tinubu have achieved all he did , in a good young age and health. At the moment, those things are not as dependable anymore.
      Osinbajo as you have agreed, is a product of BAT, then, he (BAT) should have just allowed his younger self, do the job. I use to pride on his "Jagaban" title and rode on it in the University of Lagos (during my time there). But, right now, we should be objective.

      @@jimifash what sense have you made in the mess you just wrote? & did you see me say Ibrahim Babangida was the best or I just said "he's one of my favourite leaders who didn't permit unrest,...."? See, your favourite, Buhari who knows nothing about economy or governance was a DISASTER. He was nothing close to Babangida in performance & intellect. He didn't go about borrowing to share with his friends & family. The money he stole was from the internally generated revenue. & in the case of your Tinubu who never built a bridge or invested in infrastructure for 8years as Governor but has all the finance of Lagos in his pocket & still claim to have built Lagos; the Babangida you so condemned for not allowing Abiola takeover even while Buhari has done same now for him (Tinubu) by openly depriving Obi, built all the Flyovers until Ambode become Governor (who built some amazing Flyovers), while Fasola also built some roads. Mr, keep your own bias in check, as I'm more Nigerian than you tribalist who knows no history. Whoever you support, have in mind that it'll be Nigeria at the end of it all, good or bad.

      1. I didn't vote for anyone of them in the last election.
      2. The baseless vitriol and unfounded bitterness hurled at the man Tinubu actually drove people like me towards him after the election. He is not as bad as anything I've seen and experienced as political leadership in this country since I've been born in it. Afterall, like the old chieftains of NADECO would openly admit many times, Bola Ahmed Tinubu was super wealthy enough in the 90's to finance their fight against Sanni Abacha into his obscure grave. If you read the opinion summaries of Pharisees and Sadducees say much less the fiery religious opponents of prophet Muhammad, you'd think prophet Muhammad and the Lord Jesus Christ were bad people until you take a closer introspective look at their critics and the criticisms I also learned from Italian Niccolo Machiavelli that any politician painted as evil or of gross dark character by other politicians telling the common people to crucify such a politician is always the answer to the big question in that society, especially if that political leader is not from the military. Historical studies of European and American politics in hundreds of years have proven this.
      3. Whether or not you think Bola Ahmed Tinubu is too old at 71 to lead this country is not a solid and tight argument when you put him on the same pedestal with the record of his opponents in the last presidential election. I wasn't told by news reports. I saw his masterplan with my two eyes because I was so privileged to have worked with some of technocrats who worked on that beautiful project. Many Northern Nigerians who are my friends told me they voted for him because of the remarkable outcome of that masterplan. Part of it is what you see Tunde Fashola, Akinwunmi Ambode and Babajide Sanwo-Olu take to task with commendable execution.
      4. I'm very happy that he became the president of this country. For two important reasons;
      - He was loyal to the teeth risking his life for the winner of that freest and fairest 1993 election and the mission's mandate. May the good soul of Moshood Abiola continue to rest in God's peaceful eternity.
      - The same politicians who plotted against him to wrest power from him in Lagos can now learn why he made a massive armoury out of his resources and that of Southwestern resources. Like I've come to know the American political leaders for it, you need inordinate amount of money to fight political enemies, especially the ones who want you dead. I'm so glad he didn't lose his life in all of those political wars. Nigerians like me can't lose Moshood Abiola and Bola Ige the way they died and afford to.lose Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the stupid and directionless politics of those clueless and jealous Nigerian political leaders, many of whom are now surrendering to the superiority of Bola Ahmed Tinubu in politics and socioeconomic management.
