last of the big time hoarders here, so yeah, don't tt anything that has some markup. My tt point is100.5%, anything over that I save. I agree, never tt shrapnel. Also, I tend to use up oils and lower markup item crafting things like springs and conductors, to convert the oils into higher markup items. Which gets you crafting skills as a bonus.
people def need a budget, only problem is everything requires a big bankroll (the more active you are, even if it is at lowest lvl mobs) the bankroll need to be huge, therefor most average players dont have a viable bankroll let alone budget. i def agree with the MU % stuff, there are instances where it sadly enough is not possible for MU because a market is to small or you are on a planet that hardly has a market, however being said that, every 0.001% counts (factor in cycling, and that 0.001% becomes huge eventually) but that is ofc if you only play for a extreme long time.
Played this game for a while, my teammates some spent over $10-15k. It’s armour/gun degradation vs bullets. Same with mining tools or straight per for crafting. Read from players posts for hundreds of hours and found out there was niche relationships between certain players and moderators on top of how some players took advantage of newer players over markup. armour worth around €250 and an expensive gun around the same to which my teammates had too and not to mention the chips like healing and electrokenesis The og players told us they only sweated and we found out the hard way and only figured it out after months of reading about old players posts and reviews. They never paid Me out when I left and some of my teammates people I used to play online with for over a decade were so hurt we never spoke again. Btw our collective total was over 50k and I never asked if they ever got paid out or sold deeds for markup as we were all pretty hurt from it.
Well I have one for you that you already know. During those events if markup drops dont sell but actually buy some more of those cheap stuff :). Sell it all later.
Bankroll is key but saying to never tt stuff is just wrong. I've been sitting on thousands of peds worth of low mu oils for months and never got to sell em, would've made more money just straight up tting them and investing that ped into shares/deeds instead. But its good to see you back, hope your next entropia video doesnt take another year to make. ;)
You could find a few local crafters that might buy your oils.. they might give a little lower than mu... but it would still be better than tt. It won't be a year till the next one :)
selling things MOST things that are only 115% mu or less on auction house is a waste of ped and time. the stuff doesnt sell in 7 days. even marking well under MU. still far to much risk in losing your fee it cost to list it
if you are worried about auction fees... you can usually find resellers that will buy for slightly lower than MU. Also if you have the ped to invest.. you can buy a shop and place things in there for sale .... Sales don't necessarily happen as fast as the auction in a shop, but if you are in a high traffic area you would be surprised how quickly things do sell.
Basically was a P2P(pay to play) game that need more and more money when you level up. Need money from skills, money from ammo money from everything. Market is maybe the only profitable system in the game but even this need tone of skills from just earn a bit dollars. Looks likes monsters gives back 90%from the cost of ammo, the market gives back like 10% back on average. (from the video I have see I never have play this game). But need tones of money from skills. OK we may have some extream technics from make profit with stupit hours combos but this is so boring... But the game have other weapon except guns? (swords e.t.c)
Any info from the ubers is really appreciated. Thank you for taking the time!

That's great advice Jim... I'm not much of a crafter , but I really should do that as well.

Seems like all the events are only for higher levels
Great video Raven. Let the countdown to migration begin :D -Fredda
very insightful, this really applies all the time not just events.
Make sure you have an edge in your category

yes... That's just playing smart
Mark up is the way to play... basically TT is your true enemy in Entropia...
You are playing a casino you wont make money from Mindark just from from other players you are not meant to make a profit :)

I played a number of event and the loot is...strange, perhaps just a feeling but it is pure crap every time.
a lot of time people tt because they need the ped because they are always loosing. buyers need to advertise more
