So in what sense have they fell off, just because BMW focus on performance more than AMG doesn't mean they fell off. Because if you been or driven both you would see both of the brands focuses. The Benz feel special and the M cars feel sporty. AMG didn't fall off, it's just that M cars just put performance over everything and AMG doesn't sacrifice anything for performance but blends it well.
