This is one of my favorite sermons so far. Thank you for repeating so we don't have to rewind. I'll still listen to some parts multiple times.

Amazing teaching. Thank you for posting. I love all of your teachings. Have taken notes on this and I'm listening to this multiple times until it starts to become a practical part of my life, just like they talked about in the audio! Blessings on you dear sister.

I have a question Ann. It is settled that I am a child of God with like abilities through Christ i.e. healing, cast out demons etc. Question is do we need to exercise our authority in Christ in order for Satan to take our words, prayers seriously if there is any particular sin he can hold over us? I hope you understand what I'm trying to say.

Johnny, sins that are forgiven he can't hold over us, but he will try in order to make us feel condemned. That condemnation will hinder us from exercising our authority. To be free of that we need to reinforce that truth: past sins are cast in the sea of forgetfulness. If it is some kind of current sin - it is an issue of manifesting the power of God over ourselves, mastering the sin. If we have areas where we haven't, yes, Satan can resist obeying us. I think of the verse: "Jesus we know and Paul we know, but who are you?" We must master sin in our own lives - it demonstrates our ability to walk in God's Power. Satan is afraid of those who do that. Let us press toward that in our lives.

@@AnnWindsor That's exactly the verse I was thinking about so you do understand exactly what I was trying to say.
By the way, you presented a page # to me if a sermon by John G in The Complete Collection of His Life Teachings. Sermon entitled The Truth About Divine Healing. Holy Smokes that is good, it set me on fire and also answered the questioned I had asked you. We have a right to health, to deliverance from sin. If we don't have it it's because we are being cheated. It belongs to us and we must go after it and get it. As I learn these truths I also learn about weaknesses I have to focus on and conquer through Christ so the Devil knows I mean business, I'm not here to play with him but destroy him.

what year was this sermon originally preached?

I don't find a date for this. Dr. Lake died in 1935 so it was prior to that. Quite a revelation for back then.
