The odd thing is intex sells this product and it has no + and - marks to tell you how to use it.Every damn battery powered product I ever saw told you how to insert batteries. It doesn't cost anything. But not these guys. They have a better idea so all of us are wasting our time trying to decipher.

They actually do have - and + in the lid, but still very confusing and they don't really match up.

Used the same Batteries and the pump still doesn't turn on
May be something wrong in pump. Or you can try another battery
