He was holding back and and expecting a meaty attack, but because infexious went for a delayed throw, valiant rebellion came out instead of the v-reversal he wanted to get. If you look at the input requirements for valiant rebellion and v-reversal you'll see what i mean.
As someone who deals daily with chronic anxiety, I can be ultra anxious and you would never know it. So I would bet he was actually screaming inside, but hides it very well externally.
