OMG! Thank you sir. I spent over a week(I wish I was exaggerating lol) trying to build a responsive/dynamic GUI using Qt designer by asking ChatGPT, Claude & Gemini for instructions and I was "smash your keyboard" frustrated! You sir @PanoPython are smarter than an AI. I kept using the layout widget instead of the toolbar layout. After watching over 10 different other TH-cam videos(smh lol), yours finally solved it for me. I will be ungrateful If I didn't spare the few seconds to thank you. Thank you!
Thank Ernest! I too had the same issue early-on when trying to build a proper GUI. Just wanted to share my knowledge because I knew there would be others like me.
before watching this video, i spent hours trying to figure out what went wrong with my application, I didnt reaise that I have been using wrong layouts. Thank u so much , I woulnt have wasted so much time if i had known. Great Video!!
Yup... it took me a little while to comprehend layouts and containers and how to organize them in Qt Designer... but the more you use it the more it makes sense.
Man! I was exactly like you. I kept using the wrong layout type, for over 10 DAYS! Kept trying to tweak it, ignorantly trying to put a square peg in a round hole. Lol
@@panofish Thanks for the reply! I was pretty disappointed when I was excitedly looking for the video you said would follow but then saw this was the last post and the promised video was over a year in production - assuming you had quit already. Python content is pretty saturated so it takes time and patience to break in. Had you made these videos years ago, it would have probably pulled traction immediately. That being said, I believe there is still plenty of content left to cover, especially in the way it's presented. Like I really looked long until I found this video, no other video delivered this specific content so well and clear.

Phenomenal explanation, I really hope you keep posting more. But I see the uploads seem to have stopped long ago
Thanks.... When I first posted... there wasn't much interest. Maybe I will start again at some point. So many projects on my plate.

Thank you! It's a really useful tutorial.
That was the video I searched for. Thank you.
Thanks. When I was learning about this the first time.. it was difficult to find good clear information on this topic. Glad it was helpful.
