2 years ago, I lost my 7-year boyfried, my first boyfriend. He died from an accident. Weeks before he died, we were not okay, I knew something's wrong between us. Girls, trust your instinct. I was correct when I had this got feeling that he's making up with someone. During his wake, the other girl was there. It broke my heart so much. His dead body plus the girl who became the reason of us having a shaky kind of relationship. Nasaktan ako kasi namatay siya na hindi nasasabi yung totoo sa akin. Okay lang kahit hindi na siya nakahingi ng patawad kasi pinatawad ko na siya.
Patawad, not bcos he made mistakes. Patawad, kasi nagkulang siguro ako and we were not meant for each other.
I can say, yes, sa aming dalawa may ibang nakalaan. Kinuha siya at may ilalaan nang iba for me and I deserve that. Now, okay na ako. I have endured the pain with God's help. Someone is pursuing me pala, we're not yet official kasi gusto ko muna siyang kilatisin, willing naman siyang maghintay and I know He's the one, yung lalaki na pakakasalan ko.
Sa lahat ng nasaktan, wag madaliin ang lahat. Healing and moving on is a long process. Make sure mo muna na nakahingi kana ng tawad o nakapatawad kana kasi dun mo mahahanap yung peace sa puso mo. Kung single kaman ngayon, enjoy the season of being single. God will give the right person for you at the right time and place. God had to break you to build you. God bless everyone!

The Process of Letting Go of Someone
1. Malaya (Moira dela Torre) - the stage where you are acknowledging the other person that you're already letting go of them. But it is the stage where you're still hopeful that the person will come back, it is where you can't still fully accept the fact that they're leaving/letting go of them.
2. Saglit (Moira dela Torre) - at this stage, it's where the acceptance takes place. Accepting that nothing or no one is permanent. Accepting that the person that once made you happy and special is already gone. But still, you're thankful that it all happened even for a very short period of time.
3. Paalam (Moira dela Torre, Ben&Ben) - after accepting everything, this is the next stage where you are acknowledging your ownself that you're setting them free. That you are saying goodbye to everything. Saying goodbye to the pain, bitterness and unforgiveness and accepting the fact that "your choice to forgive and accept is not theirs but yours."
4. Patawad, Paalam (Moira dela Torre, I Belong to the Zoo) - the stage where you are forgiving the other person. Forgiving them for all of their mistakes, the pain, the failures. Forgiveness is the key to freedom.
5. Patawad (Moira dela Torre) - the final stage wherein you already let go of the person and everything. And now you only got yourself, this stage is about setting yourself free for all of the heaviness of the past. It is about your turn to have forgiveness to yourself. Even you acknowledged yourself that you already moved on, if you don't forgive yourself about your mistakes and regrets in the past, it still haunts you over and over again. Freedom and happiness is about forgiveness and acceptance of what happened and what has been done.
6. Paubaya (Moira dela Torre) - even though you have done everything, you already forgave everyone and yourself, accepted and embraced the pain, there are still a lot of questions unanswered. So at this stage,"Paubaya" refers to the thought wherein you just knew that the reason you two broke up is having a third party. That you are just the second best, the option, and the first but not the last. You also realized that, those things doesn't matter because the important thing is, you have done your part where you loved someone wholeheartedly without doubts and hesitations. And also, your questions are now answered so it doesn't haunt you anymore because it is your choice to "magpaubaya". It is your choice that you chose yourself to heal and to get up. And also, it is your chance to manage and fix yourself up.
To everyone who's reading this, there might be a lot of process for you to fully move on with the heavy baggages you carry on with your hearts. Although it is a long and hard process, you can still learn a lot of lessons along the way until your wounds can fully heal and someday, someone will fill up the void inside your heart. Take the time as it heals and fixes you piece by piece.

My ex and I were College Lovers. If I am going to tell my story, it would be incomplete without mentioning his name. College life was like reality - it was an eye opener of what you really want to become in the future. And while nandun ka, it was a need to have people who will back you up every time you feel like giving up. And he was there. I was there for him too. We were each other's human diary. We were each other's rest. We were each other's comfort zones. Every time things mess up, I would just run to him and I felt like I knew what to do next.
When we graduated, we found ourselves in different worlds. We were busy with our careers until one day, he told me that he just woke up and was no longer sure for his feelings about me.
I did everything to win him back - which includes me crying in front of him baka sakaling maawa tas bumalik. But no, he was persistent to leave. And so, I also let go little by little.
After a year, I met someone. He was the love that completed me again. He was someone I never want to lose again.
And my ex - he is trying to re enter my life. Somehow, I still have this "what ifs". What if I give him another chance to continue our story? But what if he leaves again? Will I be able to pick myself up again, if that happens?
And my decision ? I chose to stay with the current guy that I have now.
Probably the story of my ex and I will remain as just a memory. And somehow, our love story was good, but is not meant to be a happy ever after. We were not meant to be each other's "nakalaan."

The hardest thing in life is FORGIVING. Especially if the damage is too big. I always wonder how Jesus can ever forgive us even if we've sinned a thousand times. But the first time i heard this, i quickly fall in love with this song because it’s so beautiful! The singer voice is very emotionally sad and deliver the song in a beautiful way. There's a reason why the Girl left. I think it's because of her father. Maybe she's rich (based on their dining table. Lol) and her father doesn't want her to marry a simple guy. Which means she chose her father over the man she truly love. Then realized that leaving him is a huge mistake, came back but it's already late. The guy already moved on. Sa chapter 1 o first music video na pinamagatang "PATAWAD, PAALAM" , nagsimula ang kuwento sa pagdedesisyon ng babae na iwan ang kanyang kasintahang lalaki dahil masyado na itong abala sa trabaho o ibang bagay na pakiramdam niya ay hindi na maayos ang relasyon nila. Maraming flashback ang naganap katulad ng paglisan ng babae at paghabol ng lalaki habang kasabay nito ay makikita natin ang isang matandang lalaki na may hawak na lagayan ng singsing at sulat. Sa dulo ng bidyo napanood natin na may isang matandang babae na bumalik at nakita ang singsing at napaiyak siya sa mga na-realize niyang paglisan pero Wala na ang matandang lalaki. Kung ang bidyong ito pagbabasehan, maiisip mo na silang dalawa ang matatanda nang babae at lalaki na hindi magkita hanggang huli. Pero may karugtong ang kuwento.

Nasagot ang mga tanong sa pangalawang bidyo kung bakit tila babae lang ang masaya na natagpuan nya ang lalaki. Sa flashback kasi, nakita natin na sa paghahanap ng lalaki sa babae niyang mahal ay nakatagpo siya ng bago. Bagong babae na muling nagpatibok ng kanyang puso. Bagong babaeng bumuo sa kanya. Pero sa pagbuo nya ng sarili nya, hindi niya alam na ang unang minahal nya ay hinahanap sya. Nalaman ng unang babae na may bago na ang lalaki pero pinili nitong lumaban para sa kanya. Sa dulo ng bidyo, makikitang may sakit na ang ngayon ay matanda nang lalaki at may kasama siyang matandang babae, nalaman natin na ang kasama niyang ito ay ang unang babae. Sa mga oras ding iyon pa lang binigay ng unang babae ang sulat na natanggap niya noon mula sa ikalawang babae. Tila nakahinga nang maluwag ang matandang lalaki dahil sa sulat na ito, naliwanagan siya sa dahilan ng paglisan ng ikalawang babaeng minahal at marahil ay patuloy na minamahal niya. Dahil dito, binigay naman ng lalaki ang singsing sa unang babae na tila humuhudyat na ibigay o ipaabot ito sa ikalawang babae. A lot of people don’t realize that forgiving the people you love helps you move on to the next point of your life instead of just leaving and trying to find another way that doesn’t include coming up to them and creating a proper closure for one another.
It is going to be complicated and it is going to take time to be able to forgive, it’s gonna put you through physical and mental suffering, but in the end, everything is going to be worth it because you’re able to move on faster than trying to run from the problem that needs an ending. It may not work, you may still think about them, but doing the right thing will not leave you to guilt.

I’ve been playing this song for quite some time now. And every time I get the chance to ponder the lyrics, I get teary eyed. My boyfriend for almost 3 years and I have been struggling to keep our relationship. Lately, I’ve been noticing how distant he is, how he seldom reply to my messages anymore and how everyday he is getting colder. I frequently cry myself to sleep silently, fighting my inner demons and trying to keep myself sane. No third party involved. It’s just the two of us and our differences. The “Patawad” song has reminded me to forgive myself and to forgive him for what had happened between the two us. It’s true that as the years go by, the sparks and the giddiness will eventually fade in a relationship but not the lessons you’ve learned along the way.
Right now, I’m still hoping and praying intimately that whatever’s happening to the both of us will be fixed. As long as there are no white flags being raised as of the moment, I’ll keep on forgiving and fighting.

Sa chapter 1 o first music video na pinamagatang "Patawad, Paalam" , nagsimula ang kuwento sa pagdedesisyon ng babae na iwan ang kanyang kasintahang lalaki dahil masyado na itong abala sa trabaho o ibang bagay na pakiramdam niya ay hindi na maayos ang relasyon nila. Maraming flashback ang naganap katulad NG paglisan NG babae at paghabol ng lalaki habang makikita natin Ang isang matandang lalaki na may hawak na lagayan ng singsing at sulat. Sa dulo ng bidyo makikitang, may isang matandang babae na bumalik at nakita Ang singsing at napaiyak siya sa mga na-realize niya pero Wala na Ang matandang lalaki. Kung ang bidyong ito pagbabasehan, maiisip mo na silang dalawa ang matatanda nang babae at lalaki na hindi magkita hanggang huli. Pero may karugtong Ang kuwento.

Sa ikalawang bidyo naman na pinamagatang "Paalam", makikita natin na nasundan Ang flashback sa unang bidyo Kung saan umalis ang babae, nakita natin na tila nagsisi sya sa kanyang desisyong paglisan at pag-iwan sa lalaki kaya humanap sya ng paraan para matagpuan ito. Makikita natin Ang proseso ng sakit at pagtanggap sa kanilang paghihiwalay. Parehas silang miserable at tila naghahanapan sa isa't Isa. Hanggang matagpuan nila Ang isa't Isa pero nakita natin na bakit parang Ang babae Lang Ang masaya? Nakayakap siya sa lalaki pero Ang lalaki ay hindi binabalik ang kanyang yakap. Dito ka mapapaisip nang lubos.

Ngayon ay dumako Tayo sa huling bidyo na pinamagatang "Patawad". Dito pumasok ang pinakamalaking "twist" ng kuwento. Nasagot ang mga tanong sa pangalawang bidyo Kung bakit tila babae Lang Ang masaya na natagpuan nya Ang lalaki. Sa flashback Kasi, nakita natin na sa paghahanap NG lalaki sa babae niyang mahal ay nakatagpo siya ng bago. Bagong babae na muling nagpatibok NG kanyang puso. Bagong babaeng bumuo sa kanya. Pero sa pagbuo nya ng sarili nya, Hindi Niya Alam na ang unang minahal nya ay hinahanap sya. Nalaman NG unang babae na may bago na siya pero pinili nitong lumaban para sa kanya. Hanggang nakita nating nalaman din NG pangalawang Babae na tila may nararamdaman pa sila sa isa't Isa Kaya dahil mahal naman niya ang lalaki ay pinili ng ikalawang babae na magparaya lingid sa kaalaman ng lalaki. Hinanap ng lalaki ang pangalawang babae subalit di na niya ito nahanap pa. Tila iniwan sya pero lingid nga sa kaalaman Niya, nag-iwan Ang pangalawang babae sa unang babae ng sulat para sa kanya. Sa dulo NG bidyo, makikitang may sakit na Ang ngayon ay matanda nang lalaki at may kasama siyang matandang babae, nalaman natin na ang kasama niyang ito ay ang unang babae. Sa mga oras ding iyon pa lang binigay ng unang babae ang sulat na natanggap niya noon mula sa ikalawang babae. Tila nakahinga nang maluwag ang matandang lalaki dahil sa sulat na ito at binigay naman ng lalaki ang singsing sa unang babae na tila humuhudyat na ibigay o ipaabot ito sa ikalawang babae. Doon muling ibinalik ang eksena sa dulo ng pinakaunang bidyo kung saan may matandang babaeng umiiyak habang hawak ang singsing. Mahihinuha natin na ang matandang babae palang ito na akala natin noon na unang babae ay ang IKALAWA na palang babaeng minahal ng lalaki. Siya ang nagparaya, siya ang nagpaalam at siya ang nagpatawad. Gaya ng dulong liriko ng kanta: PATAWAD,PAALAM SATING NAKARAAN...
