These Trent 700’s need to be put in the hall of fame of Engines😂😂. That subtle whine/roar when you add a bit of power is sound I can never get tired of hearing!
There are three classic aviation sounds:
1. The merlin engine.
2. BAe-146 "Banshee howl".
3. The Trent-700 engine roar at TOGA power.

I enjoy listening to and watching these pilots. Beautiful and amazing aircraft and these pilots are great. I enjoyed watching that other plane land, and this takeoff was amazing. This plane sounds amazing, I love the view outside these windows, I enjoy listening to the pilot's story, and I enjoy the different camera positions. Awesome video, I love it.

Last time I traveled in a plane was in 9/2018 . Spent 2 months in beautiful Morocco and France. Can’t wait to go back. I paid $29 for a round trip ticket from Casablanca to Paris about 3:15 minutes fly. It was the most amazing trip in my lifetime. I can’t wait to get vaccinated so I could go again. Working very very hard to save up and I am very close to have money ready.

Nice, used to fly the 727's into Cairo in the 90's with Qatar Airways.
She's very astute and capable. Nice to see a female running the show so effectively.
@The Climb Not surprised at all. Her abilities and qualifications have nothing to do with gender. It's just not completely common to see a female performing her duties and being a female doesn't automatically qualify her to do so.
@The Climb I would like to see a day when people would stop misinterpreting comments to be condescending as a result of their own hypersensitivity. I expressed a complimentary response to this video in particular and I don't make a point to seek out TH-cam videos featuring female pilots. Apparently you do so that would explain the differences in our exposure, I suppose. I would think that if female pilots were more prominent in commercial aviation, YOUR experience regarding the comment sections would be entirely different. And that's not to suggest females are incapable, obviously. But I'm guessing (and this is just a guess) that it's a career choice in which females are less interested overall.

I love planes
The Captain requests AP1 just after take off, barely hand flying the airplane above 500 feet and less then 30 seconds of actual flying of the airplane. This is going to bite us in the butt with the advancements of automation in the cockpit, we have got to be hand flying the airplane as much as possible to retain our stick and rudder skills for that moment when the automation decides not to work anymore.
We cant blame the power of technology to make our life easy but it is what it is

Flying using the AP would help with workload management
It’s normal. Airbus actually recommends pilot to turn on the ap once the aircraft reaches 100 ft AGL
@@styren2815 Airbus doesn’t recommend anything there has been a move in the industry to encourage pilots to hand fly more.
It’s more of a pilot’s preference and judgment when to turn on the AP.
There are pilots who hit the button at 100 feet and others who hit it at 10 000ft and other who hand fly more than that.
Personal preference and workload dictate when the AP goes on.

Hello from Canada. The cockpit crew is referred to has having a captain who occupies the left seat and the first officer who occupies the right seat. Both pilots take turn in flying the aircraft. The captain decides who will do what. Both have knowledge of the aircraft, but the captain normally has more seniority than the first officer.
