I've been with my husband for 17 years, married for 7 years, and to this day, I still call him my boyfriend at times. Actually, it depends who I am speaking with. If its a close friend, I would refer him as my boyfriend, but if its a stranger, he's my husband. And I always hated the word "Fiancé"....I just think it sounds too fancy/snobbish. He would get mad at me for saying boyfriend when we first got engaged, but because it took a while for us to actually get married (busy life: going to school, working two jobs), he stopped getting mad at one point.
