Canoe Kent; The Circumnavigation Part 1; Fordwich to Deal

The first in the Trek and Run films about the circumnavigation of South East England Challenge, 2011. This one charts the course by canoe down the river Stour from Fordwich, near Canterbury, to Deal, on the English Channel, showing a good free campsite and nice interaction with seals.

the first time i did it, it took 12 hours in total spread over 2 days, but the second time i did this trip, last year, it took only about 7 hours total spread over 2 days, not sure why, i guess it depends on the tide, and who's paddling your boat with you. don't forget also that from sandwich to the mouth of the river is another hour or so.
