When freezing, if you first freeze them spread out on a baking sheet then place them in a bag or container they won’t freeze stuck together.
Also a game changer for me was purchasing a washer with a very large capacity. I only need to do laundry now every third day at most.

Oh, watching this takes me back to my busy days when my girls were young.....definitely some of the best days of my Life. Everyone used to say "Enjoy, because they grow up so fast" and it is so true. When you showed the "banana haul" the song "Yes We Have No Bananas" popped into my head! LOL. Enjoy the rest of your week.....Spring is finally here!

I am not sure if you pack shoeboxes for operation Christmas child but those reusable shopping bags are great to put in those boxes.

I will admit I am in Awe of you being able to keep up with 3 videos a week and parent 3 children along with editing etc. I am still making a video a week and find that is enough 😊. I’m retired with no children at home ! Your videos are wonderful 😊
Same here. I’m also retired and it’s my husband and our senior dog at home and when I’m grumpy and feel like my chores will never end I think about Hilary and carry on with a smile.
It's definitely a season of life thing and it seems the more I add the more I get done, simply out of necessity! Only by the grace of God, He gives me what I need when I need it. That's not to say I don't have down days, you just don't see them. Watching 10-15 edited minutes of my day is just a tiny snapshot :)
You should make a huge batch of banana butter and water bath can it! It would be a great project to get your older kids involved with, they would love it.
I bet the kids were amazed to see such a quantity of bananas in the house. If you haven’t tried two ingredient banana pancakes, I highly recommend. It’s two eggs beaten to one mashed banana. I’ve formed them into pancakes before but now I just cook them like scrambled eggs. As for laundry there are only two adults and one dog that sheds a lot living in our home but I swear I’m doing laundry for two additional families. Dirty clothes seem to multiply like bunny rabbits.
Nighttime illness is the worst! Changing bunk bed sheets at 2 am now brings a smile to my face. Hope all is well. 👍👍🩷

Hearing the music at the end, but also being able to hear what you were working on was really nice. Finn in the doorway watching you change the sheets was so cute. Same thing has happened to me when ordering bananas online! My little dog loves bits of banana as a treat, and is safe for her. Can you please share your daughter’s recipe for the dog treat she made? The bananas are pretty funny lolol, another Mom I watch on YT had this kind of thing happen too. (Falon on Moss Family TV). What I would do with them is take 8 bunches, peel and smush them, pack flat in freezer bags, then stack in the freezer . 🥰🌷💐🍒🍋💗✝
Hi Hilary, am from Northern Ireland. When I order a food shop on line. If there,s a mistake, they will just take it back and the money will be put back into your account. It would be worth asking about. Enjoy your video, someone who,s down to earth x
They did refund the mistake and credited my account, so it's not an issue, but they don't request the item be returned so I had to do something to preserve them :)
You could make banana bread or muffins...and freeze it. Also banana splits too!

Thanks so much for watching! I've never tried the pancake recipe as waffles, I suppose it's worth a try. We use a different waffle recipe, it came with our Cuisinart waffle maker in the little pamphlet :)

The banana thing is particularly funny because I know two different people who selected "1" for the number of bunches they wanted and literally received a single banana. The exact opposite happened to you 🤣

I had to laugh and stop to comment once I saw all those bananas 🍌 Once I asked for 5 bananas and received 5 bunches! 🤦♀️ As we are empty nesters, we ended up sharing 🍌

I’ve seen a video where Hilary received just a single banana before. I’ve never ordered groceries, but they need to remedy the process to say “bunch” or number as a choice.

Silly question. I recently got preseasoned cast iron skillets. I haven’t used because I am afraid of using them incorrectly…oil or no? And then the best way to clean…please help!
They're indestructible, just go ahead and heat it up, add some oil, and go! :)

OMG I love those wooden eggs ! I want them! Where did you get them? I’m over the pastel eggs thing etc. I guess I’ll be in the hunt for eggs like that and get rid of my pastel eggs.
I know - I was thinking the same thing!! I have a few bright colored wooden ones but natural wood with white so pretty.
There have been other items Hillary has donated that I was thinking No keep them!!! I think she should put stuff like that to the side & see if we want to buy them?? Have a great day.

I’ve requested one bunch and got 1 single banana! 😆 it’s happen to me with Serrano peppers or jalapeños from Aldi. I requested 8 and received 8 packages!! 😅I couldn’t believe it. Funny how the shippers don’t think to verify in a chat. Anyways, lovely video! ❤ Speedy recovery for the kids. 🙏🏽
As long as I get something, I'm okay with getting too much, it's better than when they don't substitute a critical ingredient for a recipe. For the few errors that have happened over the years, the benefits far exceed them all!

Had to laugh at the bananas. I've learned to be Very Specific in remarks section of the order. With bananas it could be 2 bananas, 2 pounds of bananas or 2 bunches of bananas. I like to get tomatoes on the vine. One vine 5 tomatoes. Depending on how it's written on the website I could end up with either 5 pounds or 5 vines of tomatoes! I always indicate in remarks one vine with 5 tomatoes. And every item description can be written DIFFERENTLY. I know someone that wanted 3 pounds of grapes & ended up with 3 single grapes!

@@OldWorldHome lol Someone who does not cook or shop really. I've had pretty good shoppers. One time they couldn't find something I wanted & even asked an employee and I just texted them back where exactly to find it in the store. Because I knew they weren't looking in the right dept. When they delivered I found out why. It was a very young couple. Just inexperienced. Otherwise they did a good job.
@@sheilafae Actually it was a DJ on the radio I listened to all the time & he was just ragging on the delivery service about that. I kept thinking what normal person would not question that & get clarification? And he said it happened AGAIN so he was annoyed & thought the service was a waste of money. I always follow as soon as they start shopping so I can see if sub something I don't want. There are some wild stories out there. LOL
Well, if it's the stomach bug that has hit your house, those bananas will come in handy. 😆🥴

Oh my morning cup is more like 3 cups ;) Just trying to limit my caffeine close to bed, and I also drink it with heavy cream which is delicious but I don't always need that much cream in a day

Did you rearrange the girls room? Or did the girls do it themselves? The beds are on wall by door. I did that as a kid with my sister and I would rearrange our bed room all the time, we must have drove my mom nuts!!!
