It doesn't wear like the other toxic drugstore products you mentioned because it doesn't contain any of those harmful ingredients, but it's revolutionary for the drugstore to sell a brand this clean! You're so right !! We've come very far ,haven't we !!? Lol. People expect those natural ingredient cosmetic to perform like conventional/ regular cosmetics with leads ,harmful chemicals are missing the basic points & asking them to be opposite from what they are !! Lol. We should support those companies ,that's our direct votes !! And encourage them to make more of these products w/natural / less harmful chemical/ kind to our environment & other species materials !!! It's better for our skin/ health !!! So, I wear natural ingredient cosmetic daily & more major cosmetic brand regular cosmetics at parties ,events ,or if I know somebody'll be taking lots of pics / video ,or performing on stages ,etc. So that ,my skin will be thanking me !!! Lol. And my organs ,too !!! Because ,it'll go in our blood streams ,too ( only about 20 % ? ,or so,but that can affect our health in a long run ) !! That means go in our organs ,too !! Drug store brands have been improving significantly since last 10 years ago !! This is a great thing/ news for us ,consumers !!! 👍👍👍😍💜🥁🐉🎤🎶💕🌏🐈🐕🐇🐁💞
Yes! This line having safe ingredients and being recyclable is a huge step in the right direction. I hope more companies follow in their efforts to help with global warming and health. Elf has started using much less packaging too. I am going to be supporting the companies that are trying. 🌎🌊💙💋
Thanks for doing a review on this. I saw photos of these new products and was intrigued. Physician's Formula seems like such a good idea, a cosmetic line started by a doctor, but I've found most items have been a miss. I am glad that they are having more lip products.
Unfortunately many of these items still contain basil oil, lavender oil, orange peel oil, etc which are simply naturally derived fragrances. So that’s something to consider for sensitive skin types.
Thank you for including that! I guess they should specify no synthetic fragrance rather than saying fragrance free. That being said, I didn't notice a scent in any of these products so the amount of those ingredients must be very small.
I adore you Jen!! I love that you are honest in your review no matter what. I trust that! I am sad that it all didn't work out. But at the same time helped me not to waste money on it. I too am over 40. Foundation can be tricky. I agree with you 💯%. Thank you!!!
PF & Almay were my go-to brands for makeup from the drugstore back in the day. I was still wearing PF mineral powder blush & face powder as well as their matte quad eyeshadows well into my 40s. For anyone with sensitivities, PF & Almay was a godsend. I was really disappointed when they started adding fragrance to their face powders. It seemed so against their original mission statement. This new line looks very promising, especially the tinted lip balms. I won't be able to try the foundation due to the argon & coconut oils unfortunately :( I never found a PF mascara I liked & now most brands are making better mascaras for sensitive eyes so there are many options. I would recommend Clinique mascaras for very sensitive eyes over anything by PF. You got a very pretty, healthy & soft look using these PF products & the price point is very competitive compared to Glossier, Nars, etc.
I think PF is one of those brands that has a lot of ideas but doesn’t know how to execute them properly. I know every face product doesn’t work on every complexion, but I loved the Healthy Foundation for about the first 2 hours I wore it, then it dried out my skin and made it look wrinkly. That was my experience with five different primers and without a primer. I don’t think they really have great formulation when it comes to the complexion products, which is amusing considering how much they promote the doctor backstory. 🤔
Same thing happened to me with the Healthy Skin foundation! It has a little shimmer it it which doesn't help! I agree with you about their products overall ..I think they also give lofty claims so you're expecting a miracle only to be let down.

Thanks for the reviews. Allie Glines did a video on the new line and found the products in her Walmart. I am most interested in the lip treatments and lipsticks. The original organic wear lip treatment is my favorite and I always keep a backup of it, as I use it constantly to help my dry lips. So glad they came out with tinted versions. The lipstick looks amazing.
I saw Allie's video as well! She liked more of it than I did but she's also quite a bit younger than me with a different skin type, so I guess that's why it's a good thing to have lots of different reviews out there. 😊 Also I agree the lip products were my favorite!
I use Physicians Formula, I'm currently using the "ROSE ALL DAY",collection and I am 55yrs old,and my Husband complimented me on how great my skin has been looking,he says I glow! in a good way.....lol Hope this helps.......Hugs

The blush and highlighter I got were the powdered ones buttercream and yes I did really like them but I didn’t like the smell of coconut it was just overwhelming
I agree about the blushes. I bought the darker two and they wear away in an hour. I’d appreciate if you find a way to extend the wear. I wanted a dupe for the Em Serum blushes since they had such awful customer service policies, but I don’t think this is it.
This comment is pretty late, but I have the shade Gorgeous Peach and VERY oily skin, but these don't wear off quickly on me at all! I get at least 7 hours of wear out of these. I'm honestly shocked that these don't seem to last on people. I don't even wear foundation or primer with it!

I have not seen these items yet in store but my CVS carries a lot of PF products that I have not seen anywhere else (I'm in TeXas). I bought The Perfect Matcha 3-in-1 beauty water and I love it!! I also picked up the Super CC all-over blur product in light/medium and love this as well, very smoothing and long lasting. I am over 40, used to be very oily in my T-zone but I'm drier now, have redness, texture, etc. All the concerns with maturing skin (so much fun 😭). Thank you for the review on these products, I'm a lot more picky about what I put on my face now so I can just skip these 🥰 Love you and your channel, you are always very candid and actually show application and wear tests, I hope you get to try the PF products I mentioned 🤩

I loved watching your favourites video! I do agree that doing it every 3-6 months is best or otherwise it would probably get quite repetitive! But it's really nice watching what your real favourite items are, especially (I imagine) for anyone whose on the lookout for a new type of item, because then we know what you highly recommend (like atm, I'd like some lip liners). I have the physicians formula Rose take the day away cleanser it brightens and tightens the skin absolutely love it my favourite right now is also the rose all day oil free serum which also brings and tightens gives your skin a nice glow feels wonderful and you can feel just a very light tightening also I have the physicians formula skin booster vitamin shot and I love it that’s besides the make up I have
The foundation is absolutely awe full! It emphasised a lot of texture! I’m in my twenties and don’t have a lot of texture or fine lines, but somehow it made me look older! And it broke apart almost immediately, at 2 hours it looked gross and I just wanted to take it off. I wanted to give it another chance, even after exfoliating my face and it still looked disgusting! For reference I’m not oily, but a little dry, that’s why I’ve had very high expectations with this foundation, but it was so disappointing! I kept trying to make it work but sadly I’m now pretty much convinced that I need to return it. 😞
It's a real shame the foundation doesn't perform better, I'm on the lookout for a more "natural" looking foundation (currently I use cover fx power play but I want something less coverage and more hydrating) but the performance in this one doesn't seem to be there. I might try the highlighter though. I've never really worn highlighters because they seemed a bit much, I have acne scars and I was worried they'd highlight them but this one seems really natural and pretty on you. I'm also on the look out for some lightweight and natural pinky coloured lipsticks so I think I might add some of these to my wishlist. Thank you Jen and sorry for the comment mistake!!
I was excited to see the liquid blushes from Physician Formula and wanted to get my hand on it but in Canada, they are not available and orderting them on the PF web site it cost 50$CAN shipping.

OMG I need to take a break from your videos. I keep buying everything. I just picked up the Wet n Wild Halloween palette and now I want that highlighter! BTW Riteaid is having a buy 1 get 1 75% off all wet n wild so I got Coffin Break (someone had already swatched it before I noticed) and In the Smoke for 8 bucks.
The brushes of their mascaras are silicone actually ! Forgot to mention ! I believe ,their good intentions of becoming a more pioneer of natural/ good for the environment drugstore brand brought the con / sacrifice of it !! Lol. Everybody's trying to limit plastic dumping & adding to the landfill is fabulous !!! But,it comes w/ some sacrifice ! 😅
Hello. Maybe you already did a video on it but would be interrested to see what is your favorite foundation high end and drugstore and the reason why you like them. I am around your age and dry skin type and fair skin cool tone so would really like to see it. I really like Physician formula product just find they are hit or miss. Butter bronze really good I like also the other foundation. I would have loved if the new liquid blush would be really good. Anyway thanks to share everything. Hey Jen did you try the skincare from the line? Also I like serum foundations because I think the silicone ones clog my skin, but I'm pretty particular and stick to a few high end ones. But I heard they are better applied with fingers than a sponge because they sponge sucks up too much of it that it's not recommended. Just passing it on.
I honestly wasn't expecting too much from this line. The prices seemed a little high for products that don't work that well. Not really sure these were even needed in the natural beauty realm when there's already tons of great choices available. Sorry it was such a let down 💗
Thank you sweetie. I love the formula and everything but I got the blush and highlighter and the smell of coconut was so strong that all I could smell was my face for about 2 - 3 hours. Well I live in Canada so they carry it at Walmart and they carried at shoppers drug Mart they carry it at the Rexall like to drug stores so I know Walmart carries it for sure am I got mine on sale at shoppers drug Mart the other day they had about five dollars off and went to the product so I bought quite a few
Hi Janice! Those are the Butter Blush and Highlighter and they definitely have a strong coconut scent. But these Organic Wear products don't have a scent at all! 😊
Appreciate the reviews of each product. Physicians Formula are VERY expensive for drugstore makeup and I could buy some high end or a lot of lower price products and get better bang for the buck! Keep being picky Jen, PF can do better.
You didn't mention that the foundation contains coconut oil. It's an ingredient I avoid in skincare & makeup. This may account for the poor performance of the base. I love glowy, cream products. Have you tried the bronzer from the line?
@@brianaschino4903 I have tons of makeup and have to say, I truly enjoy their bronzer as well! I have tried several of the formulas, including the Butter Bronzer, and I've like them all and think they compare with my higher end bronzers by Too Faced, Anastasia and Bare Minerals.
you realize you barely put any makeup on, you needed way more product on you face, you also used very little of the dewy blush, why are women so afraid to put blush on? Actually use the product don't just dab a little on & expect it to last all day..I use the dewy exlixer blush & it stays on for hours but you have to PUT ON MORE since foundation & blush always fade quickly.
I don't like to wear heavy makeup that's not what my channel is about. I'm doing makeup for real life not the camera. The bright lights tend to wash things out so it looks like I'm wearing less makeup than I actually am. I edited out a lot of the application for time, so it's impossible for you to know exactly how much I put on. Also, I didn't like the blushes because they're too greasy and they slid off my face. But everyone is different and has different skin types and preferences so if you like them that's totally fine. They're just not my favorite cream blush formula. I like the Milani ones a lot better!

I use their mascara as a base under a waterproof mascara. It makes it easier to get my waterproof off, but it also doesn't smudge that way.

And it broke apart almost immediately, at 2 hours it looked gross and I just wanted to take it off. I wanted to give it another chance, even after exfoliating my face and it still looked disgusting! For reference I’m not oily, but a little dry, that’s why I’ve had very high expectations with this foundation, but it was so disappointing! I kept trying to make it work but sadly I’m now pretty much convinced that I need to return it. 😞

Walmart has some cvs has some and target has some none of them have entire line just bits of it walmart has the most in my area
It's a real shame the foundation doesn't perform better, I'm on the lookout for a more "natural" looking foundation (currently I use cover fx power play but I want something less coverage and more hydrating) but the performance in this one doesn't seem to be there. I might try the highlighter though. I've never really worn highlighters because they seemed a bit much, I have acne scars and I was worried they'd highlight them but this one seems really natural and pretty on you. I'm also on the look out for some lightweight and natural pinky coloured lipsticks so I think I might add some of these to my wishlist. Thank you Jen and sorry for the comment mistake!!

The brushes of their mascaras are silicone actually ! Forgot to mention ! I believe ,their good intentions of becoming a more pioneer of natural/ good for the environment drugstore brand brought the con / sacrifice of it !! Lol. Everybody's trying to limit plastic dumping & adding to the landfill is fabulous !!! But,it comes w/ some sacrifice ! 😅
Hello. Maybe you already did a video on it but would be interrested to see what is your favorite foundation high end and drugstore and the reason why you like them. I am around your age and dry skin type and fair skin cool tone so would really like to see it. I really like Physician formula product just find they are hit or miss. Butter bronze really good I like also the other foundation. I would have loved if the new liquid blush would be really good. Anyway thanks to share everything. Hey Jen did you try the skincare from the line? Also I like serum foundations because I think the silicone ones clog my skin, but I'm pretty particular and stick to a few high end ones. But I heard they are better applied with fingers than a sponge because they sponge sucks up too much of it that it's not recommended. Just passing it on.
Wondering if this foundation would wear better applied with a brush and without the primer. If you try this, can you update us on how you liked it?

Would you recommed the highlighter for oily skin individuals? I would love a natural dewy look without glitter but idk if it would break me out
I honestly wasn't expecting too much from this line. The prices seemed a little high for products that don't work that well. Not really sure these were even needed in the natural beauty realm when there's already tons of great choices available. Sorry it was such a let down 💗

Well I live in Canada so they carry it at Walmart and they carried at shoppers drug Mart they carry it at the Rexall like to drug stores so I know Walmart carries it for sure am I got mine on sale at shoppers drug Mart the other day they had about five dollars off and went to the product so I bought quite a few
Hi Janice! Those are the Butter Blush and Highlighter and they definitely have a strong coconut scent. But these Organic Wear products don't have a scent at all! 😊

Appreciate the reviews of each product. Physicians Formula are VERY expensive for drugstore makeup and I could buy some high end or a lot of lower price products and get better bang for the buck! Keep being picky Jen, PF can do better.

You didn't mention that the foundation contains coconut oil.
It's an ingredient I avoid in skincare & makeup. This may account for the poor performance of the base.

@@brianaschino4903 I have tons of makeup and have to say, I truly enjoy their bronzer as well! I have tried several of the formulas, including the Butter Bronzer, and I've like them all and think they compare with my higher end bronzers by Too Faced, Anastasia and Bare Minerals.

you realize you barely put any makeup on, you needed way more product on you face, you also used very little of the dewy blush, why are women so afraid to put blush on? Actually use the product don't just dab a little on & expect it to last all day..I use the dewy exlixer blush & it stays on for hours but you have to PUT ON MORE since foundation & blush always fade quickly.
I don't like to wear heavy makeup that's not what my channel is about. I'm doing makeup for real life not the camera. The bright lights tend to wash things out so it looks like I'm wearing less makeup than I actually am. I edited out a lot of the application for time, so it's impossible for you to know exactly how much I put on. Also, I didn't like the blushes because they're too greasy and they slid off my face. But everyone is different and has different skin types and preferences so if you like them that's totally fine. They're just not my favorite cream blush formula. I like the Milani ones a lot better!
