I have always adored Renee Taylor and once , when I was woking in a shop on 7th Ave.South , she and her husband came in. They didn't buy anything but just stopped in to ask about something , in the neighborhood , I think . Anyway I was so happy to actually meet her and have the chance to tell her how much I enjoyed her work , esp. their movie "Made For Each Other ," it really made that crappy, little job all worth while!
How could you not love Renee? she reminds me of my Grandmother in many ways, the forwardness being fearless and not afraid to say what she's thinking and the silliness she has about her!?. Love her so much, she's just fun to watch.
Love this lady! She is hilarious! Loved her character Sylvia Fine on the Nanny! Her character, Niles ( the butler ) CC Babcock and Yeta, made that show. That show wouldn't have made it without those wonderful characters. They all were so damn funny and they always made you laugh.
So many people said I looked like Fran. I dressed like her and my hair was her and my makeup and I never thought about even looking like the Nanny. She recently was on a CSI show but she had to tone the voice down cause she really talks like on the show. I liked her in her own show too. I don't know why it went off the air unless it's because of cancer treatment.
I like her as an interviewer too and UTTERLY dislike her mouthing off on "The View". She is so annoying on The View and acts like a know-it-all. When she had her own show and did interviews she was much more pleasant, because it wasn't about her or her opinions, it was about the guests and making it a pleasant and light show.
That movie " Made Fo Each Other" was one of my favorites. I do the same as Renee , when it comes to the vegetable thing. Im not trying to bo vegan , . but i try to to be as "Renee said, " semi vegetarian " I go for a time eating mostly veggies and then i have to give in and eat chicken, beef ,fish etc. I thought i was listening to myself when she said that. She is a very talented woman.This video is not exactly up to date though, because i know her husband passed away, and some of the other celebrities that she had mentioned are not with us anymore. But it was a nice interview anyway. 😁
I met Renee while she was doing the Nanny, her personal assistant Eric was a friend of mine, he was ripping her off left and right. Hope she caught on.
