    * Introduction (0:00 - 0:55)
    * Ranjit introduces himself and says he is at his friend Pavan's place to talk about Pavan's 2.5 year experience with an on-grid solar plant.
    * Pavan's solar plant details (0:55 - 3:25)
    * Pavan's plant is a 5 kilowatt unit with microinverters.
    * It cost 3.5 lakhs including installation and everything.
    * Pavan chose microinverters so that even if one unit fails, the others can still generate electricity.
    * Benefits of Pavan's solar plant (3:25 - 7:05)
    * Pavan offsets his monthly electricity bill by a lot.
    * For example, in May, his plant generated 750 units and he used 3-4 AC units and an electric car.
    * He exported 250 units to the grid.
    * Pavan gets money back from the grid for the electricity he exports.
    * This means his monthly electricity bill is almost zero.
    * Pavan's solar plant has also reduced his reliance on higher electricity bands, which are more expensive.
    * Pavan's plant generates up to 24 units on cloudy days.
    * Maintenance of Pavan's solar plant (7:05 - 8:00)
    * Pavan only needs to spend 5 minutes a month cleaning his panels.
    * He does this early in the morning or late at night when the panels are not generating electricity.
    * Return on investment (ROI) of Pavan's solar plant (8:00 - 9:35)
    * Pavan expects to recover his costs in 5-6 years.
    * He says that if he had gone with string inverters, his ROI would have been 3 years.
    * Pavan did not get any government subsidies for his solar plant.
    * He says that the government is now offering incentives for solar power, so the ROI would be even better for people who install solar panels now.
    * Pavan's app (9:35 - 10:20)
    * Pavan has an app that shows him how much electricity each panel is generating.
    * This allows him to see if there are any problems with individual panels.
    * Conclusion (10:20 - 11:56)
    * Pavan is very happy with his solar plant and recommends it to others.
    * He says that the cost of electricity is only going to go up, so solar power is a good investment.
    * He says that people can be innovative with how they install solar panels, so they don't have to worry about losing space.
    I hope this corrected summary is helpful!

    How difficult is it to get an on-grid solution - How do I phrase this...
    The process of having to work with electricity board or documentation etc? And how would one avail a subsidy for this?
    And for areas with frequent power cut is running a house with normal UPS better or should it be a on-grid + off grid solution, and what would be the cost of that?
    Also If I'm not wrong is this in Hyderabad? Is it dependent on the city's board or do most cities have the option of on grid power?

      He is using the Enphase inverter as shown in the later part of the video, these are micro inverters attached to every solar panel. But they are more expensive compared to regular string inverters used in most installations in India.
      I personally have a Growatt 5kva ongrid string inverter and that also is connected to internet and I can see the generation stats via the app.

      Approx you can expect 1400-1500 units of generation per year in India, if you use the new more efficient panels and they are placed south facing. My 2.2 KW off-grid is generating about 285-320 units / month with the new Mono Perc Half cut panels.
