Loved this video and your channel. Your enthusiasm is contagious. As for the pots instead of drilling you put a straw a dowel rod or something of that sort into the mold to make the hole so if you did have to drill it would only be a small amount so you would reduce your risk of hurting your pot. I’ve done this with Plaster of Paris concrete and air dry clay in it worked very well for me can’t wait to see all your new projects
Heyyyyy lovely .... thank you so much ! Yes I was actually toying with the idea of a hot glue stick going in the centre .... as I know silicone can handle hot glue ! But I was worried about ruining the mould ! 😍😍 haaaa but really great tip !
Although I watched it a bit later you made a good job, I will go with the roman numbers too. But again thanks for sharing you will give us great ideas thanks. Bye.
Hi Claire! About a month ago I randomly found your channel and you got me completely hooked! I've started buying all sorts of moulds for my stash and soon enough I think I'll have the confidence to actually get some Jesmonite and start playing with it. I think I'd paint the numbers on with some acrylic gold (or even get a stencil for some fancy numbers and paint it like that, could be so cool I think!). The clock is so pretty and delicate, I don't think the plastic numbers do it justice. Fabulous work!
Eek I can not wait!! I’ve been waiting for this one!! Ok I’ll be back at the end! Oh yes the space around the mandala is just screaming for numbers but I’m not sure if the style of the numbers you have would suit the fancy clock arms. Also in my next vlog video I actually show how to toned down the brassy gold into a more vintage looking gold but not sure if this would suit your clock either. What about cutting out some fancy gold numbers using your Cricut machine?? Would vinyl stick to it?? I’m picturing in my heads like a script style font for the numbers, swirly and fancy.
Ohhhhh thanks so much babe ... Yes Vinyl sticks to it ! That is a great idea... I put some pictures up on Instagram and most people voted for Roman Numetals .... in Gold and only 4 xx
9:47 - Epileptic seizure warning! It turned out great! I made my first mandala coasters, last night, with my new Molds and Shapes mold. WOW! They turned out GREAT! Beautiful mold!
The numbers do look a bit cheap because they're so shiny, I think I would try painting them with gold spray paint to make them match the clock better. The gray jesmonite looks so chic!
Recently, 4/2023, you are embossing on jesmonite with awesome results. I'm adding this note in case you get notified and see it. This would be awesome if you could use the embossing powder for the numbers. ❤❤❤
Thank you so much Tracy ... I am really surprised the majority want numbers 🤣🤣 was not expecting that x but I have tested it out on my insta ... and they dont look bad x
heyyyy Anna ... I love them both kind of .. lol Jesmonite is so new .. and FAST ! and that is what I love ... Resin is way more versatile with shiny results xx but LONG ! hahaa
Loved it,use the Roman numerals,l use Gorilla Glue to stick on the bales l use on my Jesmonite keyrings,l have drilled holes into Jesmonite and found it quite easy if it is totally cured.
I have seen people when drilling thru something tape on top to prevent splintering and when the point of the bit is thru the back they flip it over and drill from the back to prevent splintering on the back
Have you ever watched videos called little windows? She (as Wendy) has these little tubes you can place before pouring and pulls out leaving a hole, I'm waiting for mine right now. I realize this is an old video... hoping you get notification of my comment.
The hole in the desk part made me giggle. Exactly the type of thing I would do! The clock is looking amazing

Heyyyy ... oh gosh that is a very cool idea xx wonder how to
Looks great Claire. I would go with the Roman Numerals. Love you. God Bless XXX
Thankyou Terry xx ❤❤ always so supportive ... I appreciate you so much xx

When you put the hands onto the clock spindle you should put all hands at 12 o'clock. But I do love this clock it's beautiful.
Heyyyy Linny .. that is so good to know thank you ! I had no idea xxx
I think you should do a backward clock, Claire. Lol
This is gorgeous! xx

🤣 thanks Jo ... that is definitely the most popular one x
Wow Claire!! So can we drill a hole in Jesmonite immediately after setting and demoulding?
Heyyyy lovely ... I haven't tried this ... but jesmonite is at its most fragile when freshly de moulded x
@@ClairesCraftyCorner okay dear, so you then waited for it to cure for 24hrs and then drilled it ?
@@ankita192008 yes .. sorry I waited 24 hours x
Love the clock. Personally, I would not put numbers on at all but, if you do want to put them on, E6000 glue will stick anything to anything.
