Out of the many dozens of van set up I watch on YT, I love your simple setup best of all. I’m a very simple and easy person and the basics are all I desire. And your patriotism!!! Live it! 💙💙
Thanks for watching! And for your kind and encouraging comment! I couldn’t agree more, I thrive and do so much better than a clutter free space. It actually brings me joy. I feel so content in my van. When I am away on the road, just me and my van with only what I need, I can’t begin to tell you how peaceful I feel. I have zero stress. Thanks for taking the time to comment! Have a fantastic day!🙌🏼💯😃
Looking good. Having the ability to "lounge around" is the key, If you need to spend any amount of time in the camper. If you can lounge, watch a movie cook something then you are golden. Some of the priorities for my Suburbsan minimal build, was the ability to watch movies, lounge, cook inside and have a 2nd person that could be comfortable in the SUV. Sometimes I camp with a buddy and if the weather is terrible, we can hang out in the suburban, listen to music, chat and make something to eat.
I like your nobuild build.... That way the van can be put back no problem later on... or you can yank out everything easily to haul stuff, if the situation calls for it.
Thanks for watching! It’s tough for some people to pack and get ready for trips. Some people struggle with being indecisive, or unsure of what they need, and end up bringing so much more than they will ever use. People do it all the time at campgrounds, too, thinking they’re going to need all the stuff, but never end up using it. It just works for me. I really Get satisfaction out of living small. Bringing only what I need. And I feel better in my environment when it’s clutter free. In the long run, the goal is to be comfortable in your space. Not allowing yourself to be taken over by the fears of not having Things that you’re used to in a regular house. I appreciate you taking the time to comment, have a fantastic day!💯😃🙌🏼

A new subscriber here. You are unique in the lack of clutter, and the safety considerations (airflow and securing items - in case of a collision). I look forward to catching up with your back-catalogue, and in anticipation of future uploads. Many thanks 😊
Thanks for watching, and thank you so much for your support! I truly appreciate it! 😊 I appreciate your kind comment as well. Yes, I do much better and clutter, free environments, and it makes for a fantastic camping experience. Have a fantastic day!😃🙌🏼💯
Good morning from the USA! And thank you very much for that kind comment! I have to say, it makes for a very lovely Van Camping adventure when your space is clutter free. If you haven’t already, you can check out my playlist called “Van Camping in Michigan,” Lots of great info there. How’s your weather over there, in Australia? It’s currently 2° here in Michigan, with the windchill of -16° the coldest we’ve seen it in quite some time. We’ve got a few more days of this weather before it warms up a little little.🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶 Have a fantastic day! And thanks so much for commenting. I truly appreciate your support! 💯🙌🏼😃
G'day. Well it is summertime but we are experiencing unusual weather patterns here at present. We have had loads of rain but some hot days as well. Yes will have a look at your other videos. Take care
I just love both set ups, I have the Coleman cot like yours so when I get my van I’ll start with it, meanwhile that cot fits all of my tents with no problem and use it every time I go camping. Thanks for the video, great advice about the rugs, I travel with 2 dogs and they make everything dirtier but they’re worth it.
Thanks for watching! And for that kind comment! I truly appreciate your encouragement and support. 😊 This set up really works well for me! Have a fantastic day!!🙌🏼😃💯
Thanks for watching! It’s a peaceful environment, and it gives me joy. Less is more the less I bring, only what I actually need, the more space I have for myself! It’s a win-win! Have a fantastic day!🙌🏼💯😃
HELLO HELLO, a Motown gal here, Brighton/Howell. Just bought my rig. Doing no build build as well. Hoping maiden voyage across Mack 🤞by April. This arctic blast is holding it all up. Could definitely use advice, your Jackery info priceless, & LOVE THE BED! Safe journey
Thanks for watching! Yeah, this freezing weather business is for the polar bears! 🥶🥶🥶 that’s fantastic news! What rig did you end up going with? Hopefully this chilly weather will subside in April will be a beautiful month! if you haven’t already subscribed to my channel, and check out my playlist called”Van Camping in Michigan”. It may be helpful! Have a fantastic day! 😃💯🙌🏼
Nice and spacious. 😊 btw, I'm using your makeshift tent idea in my van, and it works very well. I'm at Quartzsite, Arizona and it gets cold at night. I will be doing a video about it soon. Thanks for sharing. 🙋♀️😊
Thanks for watching! And that’s fantastic news! Be sure to let me know, and I will watch a video! Have a wonderful time at Quartzsite, and tell everyone, I said, hello! Have a fabulous day!😃🙌🏼💯
When I was living in my Honda Element I cut a mattress topper to fit the floor and covered that with a fleece blanket. I had a 20° Teton Sports sleeping bag. Very bulky. I found when I rolled it up it served as a comfortable chair back to lounge on my Exped mattress which sat on top of the foam floor. Extremely comfortable lounging. The mattress topper also served to insulate the floor and it also cut down on road noise. Has anyone ever looked at a Ram C/V? It's the cargo version of a Dodge Caravan. Has the cup holders and all that but has a flat metal floor. What I liked about the Element was its flat floor. The Ram has that too but it's 8' long. So worth considering going the minivan route.
Thanks for watching! I appreciate your comment! I’ll check that van out, worth looking into! I’m glad you found a great solution for your sleeping situation, genius! Comfort is the way to go🙌🏼😃💯
Thanks for watching! No, I really don’t have any issues with bugs when I keep my windows cracked like that. I have window covers on as well. I’m not saying a little flying something or another doesn’t get in here and there. But it’s really not an issue at all! At least where I live. Thanks for watching! Have a fantastic evening!🙌🏼😃💯
I enjoyed this video. Thanks. I love how you increased the length of the bed by utilizing the height. I'm too tall. However, you might be too when it rains. Your bedding will get wet from condensation. I've been camping in rain for a few nights. A dehumidifier only goes so far. It got a bit soggy. I keep things from the windows and walls.✌️❤️ ~ 🦋
Thanks for watching! All good thoughts and ideas! Totally agree, too much rain makes for a ton of moisture in the vehicle. If you happen to have a real problem on your hands with that, if you start your vehicle, put your heater on, but also engage the AC, it will pull the moisture out of your vehicle, like a dehumidifier. 🙌🏼😃💯
Hello, thanks for sharing. I'm thinking of buying a Bluetti and you seem to be happy with yours. Could you please tell me how the max wattage for your unit? About how long will it power your fridge? Ever used it for a space heater or portable AC?
Thanks for watching! My bluetti is a 300 W, it would probably run my refrigerator for the better part of two days without being charged. You can’t run electric heaters off of small power stations, there isn’t enough wattage to support the heater. You would need a very big battery 1000 W or more to run a small electric heater. And even with that, it wouldn’t be very efficient. Have a fantastic evening!🙌🏼😃💯
On the back wall, on each side there are anchor loops. I use paracord and tie from one anchor, around closest leg, at the top above where the table leg folds out, run it across to the other leg , wrap around that same area and tie it to the anchor on. That side. It is as tight as Dicks Hat Band…. As my mother used to say. 😂🙌🏼❤️💯 I🙌🏼💯 ❤️ Have a fantastic day! 😃🙌🏼💯
I stopped by because I saw stars and stripes. I'm at a campsite and someone jacked my American Flag when I went for food. Burn. Lol I'm still upset about it. ~ 🦋
Thanks for watching! I’m really sorry to hear that! It’s so unsettling when people invade your personal space and living area and take your things. I love my country and God. I make no bones about it. Was it a big flag? I order if anyone saw it happen.
@ModernDayPilgrim Nah. It was a little one I keep at the site #. I think I know the guilty. But, they left God gave me a real powerful voice. It was quite evident that I wasn't pleased. It not the 1st flag taken from either. I had one taken when I lived in bricks and sticks. Theft of any kind really gets under my skin. If you ever commit fraud, make sure "I" don't find out. My punishment would be worse than any Judge order. 😆 I'll just get another and set a trap! Hahaha 😆 ~ 🦋

48 inches long by 24 wide folding lifetime table

How wide is your bed?
Actually, I just found the answer. Next question, have you added extra supports and can you lease show up those. 😊
