    Grayson, I love to look at the SCTR "once in a while" though I'm still wondering how to use that indicator for my "swing trading" practices. I feel that most of the time it's a bit too late to jump in the strongest stock of the strongest group of the strongest sector. When I look at a chart, it seems that the move has started months ago. Jumping in at that point seems to be like getting in with the FOMO crowd, ain't it?
    Hence my question about using the SCTR to find stock *beginning* their ascension! Thanks for shedding a bit of SCTR wisdom!

    This SCTR filtering program is amazing! Thanks for your clear explanation on how to use it. I am going to incorporate SCTR scans into my investing process from now on. I think it will help tremendously with quickly finding high-performing industries and individual stocks.

    As ETF's started in Canada in 1990, it would be great to include CAD ETF's in the SCTR Report. Thanks.

    Excellent presentation of a very powerful information tool. Dues it track non-sector ETFs and mutual funds?

      @graysonroze 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep, the US ETFs "universe" has those non-sector ETFs you're looking for! Mutual Funds do not have SCTR values though.

    Hi Grayson, is it possible to input a syntax to search for the SCTR change (CHG column) along with the SCTR rating? I sometimes manually sort the SCTR report page by CHG (largest first) to search for potential breakouts. It would be so much more time efficient if I could add this to my scan to rule out stocks with low SCTR rating.

    • @edenhill422
      @edenhill422 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ok I think I may have somewhat figured it out. If I use the 'Arithmetic Operator' syntax of [today's SCTR.mid > [yesterday's SCTR.mid + 5]] for example, it will return scan results of stocks with a SCTR change of greater than 5. This seems to be the same 'change value' that you can see in the CHG column if using the SCTR report page. However, the change value is not shown in scan results as it is in the SCTR report for each stock.
      Now I should be able to scan for stocks with SCTR ranking of greater than 75 _and_ a SCTR change of whatever value I chose.

    Hi Grayson, in my stockchahrt, there is no S&P 13 sector categories.. how to create this category for SCTR ? stay safe

    • @graysonroze
      @graysonroze 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The S&P Sector ETFs are actually just part of the "US ETFs" SCTR universe, so you can see them on the SCTR Reports page within that group, or if you pull up the Sector Summary page you'll see the SCTR values for all 11 Sector ETFs. Hope that helps!

    How often does the sctr value update?

    • @graysonroze
      @graysonroze 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      SCTR values update in real time throughout the day, and are “finalized” at the close of each session.
