Roughly 45 year's off the farm. Still remember the things that had to be done even though you would never normally do. That's farming. You at least admit that sometimes you have to do what normally you wouldn't. Things change all the time and that's always gonna be.You keep rolling with the punch's my friend. No one has to walk in your shoes but you. This is NW OHIO and someone better watch who's yard he steps into down here also. have a great night.

you kicking that little bit of material back into another windrow you cleaned off the baler speaks very highly of your farming ethic!!! I see so many people waste so much feed and every little bit adds up. Watching corn chopping, Some of the "big" farms around waste more feed on the field then i feed all year lol!!

I use the hay spears with 2 long spears and can use them like pallet forks to get under those bales with no net and put them in the wrapper as long as they don't blow apart too bad.

The bales that blow out can be saved by getting a role of shrink rap (pallet wrap) and wrapping it before you even try to lift. It's a bit of a pain but it's better then losing the feed

You know you need to do a video on what happened or what Rodney Yates said to make you mad at him

I'm hoping to bale my Sudan grass tomorrow or Sunday as dry hay with my little square baler. Monday will be two weeks on the ground. I didn't get sowed til last Saturday in August

10 bales extra might look like a million bucks if it snows a few inches on April 20th. I'm sure it wouldn't be the first time.

With the spring we had and my inability to get all my corn planted I opted to put 200 acres of BMR Sorghum Sudan in. I let my agronomist do his thing and treated it as prescribed. I average 23 ton per acre on my first cutting and 17 ton per acre on second cutting. Every load was scaled in before going in a bag, 8000 ton total. We shall see what the dietician says about it come December so fingers crossed. Opted to not put it in a bunk or upright as it wasn’t near enough to fill either. Corn silage averaged 22 ton per acre and shelling could start late next week depending on weather.

We shall see how it looks nutritionally and chances are it will happen again next year.
