don't buy msi bro I got that msi monitor and the screen broke within a week. half of my screen just died randomly without me doing anything. there are also some slight issues with hdmi ports because not all hdmi cables work with this monitor. overall I would recommend to avoid this monitor.
I have this same monito now. I use it for my high end flight sim DSC World. On my Ryzen 7800 with a RTX 4070 , to get the best out of it I have to turn off HDR and adaptive sync and I still get some ghosting. Plus it came with a few pixels not working.

I haven't played too much with settings tbh, so I could potentially get it to look even better. It gets mighty bright too.

Hi. Tell me, does the monitor from your review have a factory calibration of the screen? There is information on Korean reviews that a calibration report is included with this monitor.
It does comes with a calibration report. Mine seemed very good with an average ∆e of 0.47 in the smart uniformity mode, SRGB clamp, D65 white target and 2.2 gamma. Not a single ∆e even got close to a 2. Uniformity on my model is also good, no complaints about clouding or major backlight bleed (acknowledging it's still an IPS so in the dark you will see some)

@@mohamedshukry8088 the ASUS has an older panel than the Philips but again, if you can find a cheap G2724D it would be the best option. I had many 1440p ips monitors and this one is the best. I only would change it for an OLED.

I never played on pc but if you right click you can press on display settings and then advanced settings and change the refresh rate to 180 hz :) i hope i helped this is also for resolution

@@skochko9876 it can be used for light (non pro) editing work in the sRGB space (most used format on the web). However anything else (like DCIP3) won't be colour accurate. This only matters if you're editing photos or videos. If you're not, it's perfectly good for gaming.

I tried playing Call to Arms, gates of Hell Osfront on my RTX2060Super, Ryzen 5600x, B550M, 16GB DDR, on an old HP 27Q 2K 60Hz monitor, and it runs well. @@marston8619 only use HDR if you have an HDR signal or something that supports it. Even then, with this particular panel I'd suggest sticking to SDR.
