I feel like the drill dungeon will end near the depths or even reach the depths where you will be able to use the depths drill (maybe in a quest) to get to layer 2.
A second option which is called Ignition Deepdelver, spawn in depths in an ignition union base set up in layer 1, basically castle light but only for people with the origin.
Allow the ignition union to have a personal Drill that lets them temporarily go down a layer anywhere and return to where they went down after a set time (Overworld > Layer 1 > Layer 2 > Layer 2 Floor 2 > Instant Death) Have them automatically pulled back out lighthook style by the drill "Returning to surface with user" after like 5 minutes, something like that idk. Could also be cool to give the ignition union unique uses for Ore. Like maybe let people coat their weapons in liquid ore vials like the temp buffs from the souls series. Each giving a different temporary effect similar to what bullets give to guns but on melee weapons.

No i mean quite litterally you can eat ores as ironsing im not sure about rocks or iron but i know you can eat gold for a small speedboost i believe (having ironsing as an attunement lets you eat ores)
yeah i just ate gold yesterday i dont think it buffs weapons directly supposedly back when there was a bit of intrest there was like a list of what ores did i know umbrites effects are unknown tho As of then im not sure about now havent looked at it

I was talking to my friend about this not too long ago and what I thought it is that ignition union should either get improved progression out of the new dungeon (give them access to the minecart tracks to be more efficent and load ores into it for faster runs/less tedious gameplay) or to give them the ability to get "pure ores" while mining for drill fuel, which could be a expensive alternative for ignition players only to craft valuable items related to the faction as example: 50 pure mount saramed ore for a railblade, or 35 for a ironsinger heavy plate.
just give them end game benefits, otherwise theres no reason for going ignition union origin. deepbound has castle light and voidwalker has voidheart, ignition union origin kinda has miners landing but any other origin with neutral or above ignition rep can use them
What if instead of the hive or Summer Company origin, we got the FREAKY origin, and instead of spawning at Fort Merit or Summer Isle, you spawned at a Diddy party
Something simple but effective would be giving delvers free union hook along with a "deep drill" ability like call of the deep. This would send them to the base they have down in the depths. They'd also be able to use the deep drill in layer 1 in order to get to floor 1 of layer 2, spawning you in the base above the walls and giving you a way to teleport between the one underneath aytge one above the wall
We rebrand the Saramaed expedition as a field test for an upgraded deepdriller in terms of carry capacity and environmental resistances, thus if you have the origin the deepdriller on floor 1 of a second layer let you keep all the items you found in the dungeon as well as appearing on second floor to act as an alternative exit point, you will have to ditch all the heavy stuff in order to escape tho, luckily medallions are pretty lightweight. Maybe add some origin exclusive quest that upon completion allows you to show middle finger to whatever in charge of a trial and escape the depths through union base
I feel like if you have the ignition union origin, have high ignition union rep, and reach a certain depth in the dungeon, you should be able to get the deepdelver armour without the need to craft it. You should also get the ability to take the drill down to depths from miners landing to the ignition union base in layer 1, and drill down to layer 2 from the layer 1 base.
I've once suggested the idea of making Ignition Union a token system, lets call them Ignition Tokens. These Ignition Tokens would allow one to go from surface to layer 1/2 and from layer 1 to the surface without having to do trial. These Tokens would be dropped in the Dungeon and at the end of Layer 2 runs to make travelling through layers easier for progression and quality of life. Edit: Also, Klaris probably wouldnt want to help you, you being an Ignition Union member, so no Light Hook but maybe a new npc to exchange kyrsan medallions and spare Ignition Tokens for loot.

They could also add another way to escape the depths through the ignition union base. And maybe allowing you to use the drill that lets you escape layer 2 but instead to go down, except you dont get lighthook and potentially it costs something aswell? That would make it slightly more viable to go as it would be useful endgame for traveling to and from the depths

i have made a whole idea about this Nerfs: Inability to enter castle light Hard to get origin Villain rep with SC and divers Buffs: Chariots spire is now a livable city with every utility and a food stand that only ignition members can use, also restores sanity inside Union hook The ability to go to l1 and overworld and vice versa anytime you want with caveat that you cant use it to unrust your health bar unless if entered through a whirlpool, also spire can be entered and lived in if entered through drowning but spire cannot send you up in a case of drowning. Higher dungeon and job exp until PWR 10
Echo unlock to give more exp gain? Like up to 20% with 5% exp every 50 echos? Also give only ignition origin the ability to use the samurad hallows drill to get to layer two? And they can take others with them to layer two floor one? Possibly add more meaning less things to incentives more play time like starting rep or armor durability?
They should add something in the floor 1 or 2 with this origin, like imune to parasite or no fog at the start even having free acces to the ignition base in the depth or EVEN better having access to the drill from the ignition base in the depth to spawn instantly in the bounder nest

The only reason that Voidwalker is viable endgame is access to the voidheart, that's it. It would be really cool to make it canon that the voidheart is underground and the union has a drill that can go into voidheart making it more viable to endgame pvpers
I think they should add like multiple paths to the origin, like Deepbound has the diluvian path, but for the ignition union origin you can chose between miners landing and layer 2 to spawn in. They should also add an ability like Voidwalker and Deepbound to the origin that lets you teleport to miners landing.

I think the ignition union origin should have the excavator talent when spawning in beacause they are miners. Having that talent when going to Saramaed Hollows would really speed up the progress.
They should make it so ignition drill doesn’t tax all your items, you don’t have to save the dude to get arcwarder(especially since you save him for the origin itself) a slight storage load buff more ores and better pure ore chances from mining, and like a 5-10% innate monster armor.Any less I think would make it do too little especially considering it’s the only origin you have to do L2 for(even if it’s only bone keeper)

What's the point of going other origins if I can't even play the game with them.
