@@Nachtflut Towa Gib is a mainstay because her playstyle really complements him. She's always flank watching and really adept at pre-placing domes for fights and/or holding third parties. She gets compliments from pros too so it just speaks for itself how good she is
well they need a recon player, a rotation player and a gib player. Gib player don't need good movement because his fat ass, only need good aim and good at using ability so Towa is fit. Aqua 100% is a movement player with wraith/horizon/ash. So it left for Sui on recon duty, this role have a lot of flexibility, you can choose flanker with Path/Valk/BH, or full support with Crypto. Valk will be the hardest but also the strongest option. TBH I think a good team that have a Valk main will have a really high chance of doing good this tourney.
@@victortran2962 Ehh, I think going Valk is a bit too risky here. Due to way too may monsters and only Towa really experienced in Tourney but we will see.
imagine my surprise when i woke up earlier to THIS news update. I was in disbelief and like, "wait is this for real? THE Minato Aqua joining an APEX tournament?!"
quickly followed by a notif of upcoming Akutan stream, and my happiness rose up to peak levels.

Towa-sama : good in Apex, and has experience with tournament.
Aqua : good in Apex and good gaming sense.
Sui-chan : good with killing instinct (psychopath) in whatever game.

@@Salty010 yeah. botan is definitely better player. but we're talking about aqua here. towa or botan is really good at communication but they don't have enough experience at handling aqua. to break the potentially awkward moments they need a super aggressive person like suisei. sure aqua will get smacked around a lot by suisei like their previous collabs, but it will break the atmosphere around them

As shown many times recently aqua is able to hard carry her diamond team to victory. It will be interesting how she plays with groups.

Sui-chan also said she has been practicing since February off-stream. Her smurf practice account is apparently already Plat IV or something. She does have good gaming sense in general, and with that much practice she probably won't weight down Towa-sama and Aqua. Looking forward to the tourney even more because of them.

Just realize that they're Mario kart monster that everyone avoided at tournament last time and now they're participate at apex tournament
hype, prob the team will suffer a lot in term of coordination, but its their first turnament, hope they enjoy it as much as i would >.
I don't know much about Apex, but I know Aqua likes playing it, so I'm glad to know she is playing with friends now!

I don't want to be a downer but I hope she won't get crushed by the expectation and excitement of the fans since even ShibuHal has tagged her as worth 10 pts. Tourneys like these are unpredictable as even monster players frequently encounters bad luck.
On the plus side it's all Holomems team, playing with friends makes you more comfortable and is easier to enjoy the game! Since this is a tourney debut of Suichan and Aqua I'm glad they picked Vsaikyou and not higher tier tourneys lessening the "try hard" focusing on experience and enjoyment.

But she has the game sense which can help in learning the ins and outs of a very competitive scene
Joining a tournament requires NOT experience, hence the debut of Aqua (who's relatively green).
@@UltramanMebiusBrave What he meant is performing in a Tournament is way different than playing normal rankeds, since you are faced against people that know each other, and have good chemestry, you require no experience but veterans in tournament know how to deal with panic and pressure (aka not making that many mistakes)
OMG!!! On one hand so happy onion is joining!!! On the other hand, super worried, as this team doesn't seem very strong.
They can do well, towa is good and knows how to play in tournaments, aqua is very good at winning fights and suisei will probably play bloodhound or something and still be really useful even without being as good in fights.
on paper they actually top 5 or even top 3 just look at other teams to compare.
@@kawaiipotatoes7888 my beef is with Shibuya giving Aqua 10 points, but giving Virtual gorilla 9, Reid 9, Astel 9, Noah 9, so they can only get Suisei. Consider Aqua and Suisei never attend custom games. Also you can get a plat 4 for 3 points and Suisei is definitely are not there yet, you can basically call it lost if Aqua and Towa are downed. Meanwhile Yakumo Beni from VSPO is 3 pts, same as Suisei? The rule is not balanced, gold should be 2 pts, otherwise you are basically 2v3 every fight!!!

So hype about this not big fan of APEX but because Aqua is joining a team tournament
They're all very, very committed and focused when they set a goal.
Towa has a lot of experience with callouts, and playing in a tournament. She probably understands how the other teams play. Diamond players are roughly better than 90% of players.
Aqua has incredible game sense and aim. Solo master is not an easy thing to accomplish, but she made it seem easy.
Suisei is good at any game she plays. Plus, she has really good reaction times from being a high level tetris player. I feel she has a lot of potential but just never really invested herself in Apex, so I'm curious how good she'll get while practicing with two high level players.

Towa on Gibby (her main), Aqua prolly Wraith/Horizon (her top 2 mains) and Suisei most probably Bloodhound. Suisei only used BH on her last Apex stream which was only a few days ago.
BH is way more beginner friendly than Valk

I'm not really worried about towa and aqua but it's suisei.
Suisei needs more experience and will have to learn more about team fights and map advantages.
Alot of people are worried about aqua but imo, she will adapt pretty fast.
It really depends on how well Aqua can adapt to the custom tourney in these few days of scrim.

i dont know much of apex legends but i watch some of the holomembers clip of them playing apex legends, so this team if it works out its either they will be anounced as champions(its free to dream so y not)or they will be between top 2 and 10.."if" the team works out..towa and aqua's role are the no doubt will be in the tournament but for suisei i dont really know(correct me if im wrong i dont really know) they can use this as a strategy to confuse the enemy they can switch roles between matches..towa can be support, aqua as a bruiser/defender and suisei as offense(again i dont really know much so correct me) cause they started practice after the team was made suisei sub account is now at plat 3..so if they play their cards right they can grab the championship or even claim 2nd place..well this is just my opinion..
What do you mean by "roles?" They could switch legends, I don't think that would help much. Switching to completely different playstyles wouldn't make sense either.

Astel is still the better balanced player He's the best jn Hololive. Aqua has better sprays and movement though. She's also cracked at shotgun clutches. Dunno how she will fair with a bubble fight that would be the game changer on this.
as much as I want to agree with this, if you counting Botan, then Astel is outclassed, otherwise you are right since astel has been taking lots of roles as IGL ever since after his bloodlust win in his tournament with Reid, Noah, and Bora(Hope bora is doing fine). His bloodlust died down a bit after that tournament and focused on IGL, I really think that team environment and such is good for astel as reid can suppress astel's blood lusts and Noah giving scans. I don't really watch a lot of Suisei Apex, but along with being friends, I think Aqua's team is well suited for each other

What's amazing is Aqua was evaluated as 10 points, the highest among all of them in the tournament. Even the only predator was evaluated at 9 points. As expected of the Nekomimi Gamer Maid~
That was a typo lol, Gorilla's worth 10 points, pretty sure they cleared that up. Astel is also worth 10 but bargained (to only use the new legend) to get 9 points. But yeah, Aqua getting 10 points is amazing, it just means that she's acknowledged by the Apex vtuber community. In the end, I hope she has fun with the tourney! I know I'll definitely be watching.

Having a coach could help but they don't necessarily need to have a coach.
Towa's team didn't have one during her first tournament either.

If they are serious about it. Having a Coach is important in any setting. Competitive is a whole different monster where you could get wiped in matter of seconds because of follow up teamplay. Mostly about positioning, waiting, and rotation. Pros even know who they are fighting with, because they know where they drop, how the enemy will rotate or who's fighting who and how many from afar. I wonder how Aqua would fair in a bubble fight, she's good with shotguns though. I hope she doesn't get discouraged when she loses.

Suisei I can't really say much about, but she'll probably mostly listen to what Towa & Aqua tell her to do.
Tournament play is quite different from Ranked/Casual, so while Aqua is probably gonna do great, it remains to be seen how well she actually does working in a team and going up against the other participants (there are quite a few strong players that have a lot of tournament experience).
Towa also has quite a lot of tournament experience, so she mostly should know what she can and can't do (her CR cup teams so far have always won at least 1 match during the actual tournament, as a result she's currently the CR Cup participant with overall the most champions during tournament)
