You & Spoon vs Adam & Johan, both pick a chassis of your choice, give yourselves a budget of some sort (5-10k) and see who can build the better 'All-Round' car (drifting, track, drag & even looks?) would give an old top gear type off feeling, it would be sick!

I bought a transmission today so I definitely need to sell parts or I'm not eating tonight... MOST car guy quote EVER... I was thinking that red valve cover would clash badly but with more and more going in the bay, it looks phenomenal. Good job Jimmy

Holes in thermostat is a lifesaver, especially with the K series. I couldnt bleed mine no matter how hard I tried, drilled a few small holes and it bled so easily 😂
Dahtone racing in aus has proven itbs are not restrictive until 1200 hp and after upping the butterfly size you can keep going. Also dahtones e throttle conversion brings it into a whole new feeling
I'm gonna tell y'all a very quick, sad story. ONE time I quit driving my RB s13 because the alternator went out and back then I didn't know you could use an LS alternator (and I kinda got really ripped off) so I traded it for a Jeep XJ 😢 I'll never get over it.
I was building a RB20 s13 hatch, n had to sell it before I ever got to finish it n get it running to buy a new daily cus my buddy blew mine up...I feel ur pain
Hopefully in the future the waterneck doesn't have a problem leaking because coolant does eat at black and i used black rtv on my car and then slowly it started leaking and you know what a pain it is to put coolant back into car.
I hope you don't get spoon soo annoyed he leaves. Remember he's got stuff he wants to work on too without being in your shop forever while you live your life and he stays working in. I hope he's getting paid very well.

Jimmy, give the 240z OE Clutch Fan a try. iirc it fits the RB using the KA or SR fan clutch. the 240z fan has a smaller diameter than the RB or KA/SR fans so it should help with the taller rb30.

They make a vacuum operated tool to fill the cooling system so that you dont have to wait for the thermostat to open. Airlift is a brand that does

You shouldn’t use the paper gaskets on the inlet manifold, they tend to blow out with big boost. Tomei and nitto make metal ones to go in there

Back fill motor with thermostat off works well for me
Use a couple of winegums lollies in the Thermostat to hold it open for the first time to bleed the system seems strange but trust me it works

I always cut off the stupid ass valve off the thermostat so it’s a empty hole. Always a good idea to add a hole or two.
