Unless the logging truck/driver intentionally hit you, it was just an accident. Shit happens. No reason to get out screaming -> makes you look like a jackass. Occupational and Safety regulations state clearly that no one is allowed to create a safety hazard in a work zone. Outlaw803 did exactly that by making the road so narrow that the logger had zero safety room. To be fair the blame also rides on the logger's driver for not stopping and requesting that Outlaw 803 move his pickup over further out of the traffic lane. So although the law states the truck logger was at fault the reality is that the pickup driver could have avoided the entire collision had he used some common sense and stopped his vehicle behind the parked logger he drove past.
It's best to stay cool headed. Then state your case. Be firm. Sometimes there are people who are looking to ruin your day. Don't feed the monster. ❤
