We are doing this business in retail from last 40 years but the profit 10 Paisa per kg which means profit is only around 50 to 100 Rs per 100 kgs!

Bhaiya me naya ghar banane ka soch raha hu, Isliye me IndiaMART pe sariya kharidne ke liye search kar raha tha lekin search karte karte mujhe ek dealer mila jo Jindal, Vizag etc. achche achche company ka sariya 35 rupiya/kg sell kar raha hai, mujhe doubt lag raha hai. Mujhe lag raha he ke wo sariya nakli he. Plz bhaiya ap mujhe thoda help karenge to achcha rahega. Plz ans.

This is not a good business avoide it, profit margin is 0.60 rs per kg and you need to give credit to contractors and it is very hard to recover your hard earned money from them....profit margin is hardly 1%, you can only survive this business if you have loan free 1 crore rupees, your own godown and shop.....if you are strong financially and your expenses are only 40000rs(which includes staff and electricity expense) per month then you can go for this business....
I would suggest you should go with plywood and hardware business, it is a good business with all over 20% margin atleast and it is hassle-free, minimum investment required is around 50 lakhs and you can earn atleast 3 lakhs per month if you work hard....

Profit margin is not more than 1% .about rs. 0 50 / kg. Very tough competition,,must have capacity to give credit and recover it .. investment required : min.. 20 lakhs and capacity to sustain losses for atleast 1 year .
