      Loved the conversation! I've had many many years of problems with drug abuse, and been to some re-habs, but have always relapse! I have watched people use DMT on TH-cam for the same problems! Do you think it's beneficial for this? I'm also afraid! May be loss of control? I don't know! (Great conversation)

    What if DMT, psilocybin, mescaline, and other similar chemicals allow the brain to better observe quantum phenomena that are always occurring but that the default mode network usually filters out? In the induced chaos caused by psychedelics, the brain may temporarily lose the ability to guide consciousness on its own. Instead, background quantum properties of the cosmos which are normally tuned out, could become much clearer like a radio that's out of phase with any particular radio station and is able to pickup background electromagnetic radiation.

      That’s more or less my opinion/ best guess as of right now as well, as far as my personal experience with DMT goes. Great job on your description of it!😊

    • @alexevasic8411

      You fail to understand what the default mode network does... basic sober mediation work turns it off or modifies it, like psychedelics. A lucky or informed 500 hour meditator may be able to deactivate it.
      The process that stops is the process that tries to pretend their is a permanent solid separate sense of self.
      The DMN shuts off the selfing process.
      There is nothing wrong with thinking that psychedelics may inhibit Regular reality, and enable unfiltered reality. Throw in the word quantum physics if you want.
      But just keep you neuroscience terms accurate or don't use them. Or research them more

    I have a hunch that the reason the Fermi paradox exists is that we're looking in entirely the wrong place. No one travels through space because it's impossible. The travelling is done in a different dimension and DMT is giving us access.

    • @amandajane22
      @amandajane22 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yup! This is why people meet different entities while in the DMT space including aliens. We can’t see them because they are in the non physical or spiritual realm. They are way ahead of us because they have already figured this out. Also a lot of people who have had NDEs report a lot of the same experiences as a DMT trip.

    • @Private-wj4nd
      @Private-wj4nd 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      It is somehow modifying our “receiver”- our brain- in such a way that we can see and enter another space entirely. I haven’t done DMT, but I did have a near death experience (wonderful).

      @@honestysession90 You clearly know *nothing* about Japan or its attitude to drugs. To suggest Japan is the most drug averse country in the world is frankly silly -- ever been to Singapore? Or the UAE? Or China? I could go on. You only know what you've heard on the news. The UK's drug laws are comparable to Japan's, except San Pedro is legal in Japan, but illegal in the UK. In fact, *all* psychoactive drugs are illegal in the UK, unless whitelisted by the government. This Japanese "drug aversion" is almost entirely about meth (and cannabis to some extent), but not psychedelics. You've no idea what you're talking about.

    This was an utterly fascinating conversation! I'm so intrigued as to the realms and entities of the DMT experience and how cosmic it all seems...I'm quite in awe of where this can all lead to, the possibilities seems beyond limitless. I also found it intriguing how you woke up in another realm as another being and then snapped out of it..beyond weird, but utterly fascinating. Is this all hallucinations or actual breakthroughs into another dimension?. Perhaps we'll never know...or will we? Time will tell, I hope.

    F'ing awesome. Great job Kerwin, and Dr. Gallimore. Loved every bit o fit. One thing I take umbrage with in general when it comes to DMT is when it gets referenced as a drug. It's not one, and doesn't need to be referenced as such just because some governments outlawed it. It gives DMT an unnecessarily negative connotation right out of the gate, which doesn't do it any favors already being a psychedelic. I just refer to it with words like "compound." Just a thought. Enjoyed this podcast immensely!

      So then all “drugs” are essentially compounds, including Methamphetamine, Diacetylmorphine, Phencyclidine, 5-MEO-DMT, 2CB, BZ, etc.. all compounds have usefulness, so lets not isolate Psychedelics from their compounding family. Elitism serves no compounds here.

    Modern neurobiology cannot explain it (only to the extent that it also cannot currently explain consciousness) so would this not also be true of any other psychedelic experience? Also, is there something qualitatively different about DMT so that it cannot be seen as existing at one extreme end of the spectrum of psychedelic experience?

      I have this same exact issue so I’m wondering the same as well! Im bipolar and I keep hearing from multiple people that those with bipolar and other conditions should not take psychedelics because of risk of psychosis. But then how are we supposed to get help for our depression too if this has potential therapeutic benefits? I also heard not to do it if you’re on medication because it won’t work as well or something like that. I need to be on meds as well but I Really really want to experience all of this. I’ve only microdosed with mushrooms several times. But I want the full experience…

      @@amandajane22 yeah I’m with you on that, Ive tried multiple times with psychedelics but they don’t have any effect on me and that the ssri’s which are anti psychotics which I take and also an anti depressant for the depression seem to block these psychedelics, I think it maybe that they effect the same receptors in the brain and that they may cancel each other out but I’m not an expert so I’m not too sure, so it’s a bit of a dilemma. Maybe the only way is to come off of your medication but as you say we have to be on this medication, much love.

Substance was 4-ACO-DMT. Perfectly legal. For god sake it’s a brown powder. Fen is white, I believe. The company also sends with all proper MSDS. They are by the book. All chemicals and substances are strictly not for human consumption. That is how it works and they get around the analog laws. If you want let me know. I’ll shoot the name. Then I’ll delete the thread.

    Your statement that dmt gives us access to other intelligences is nonsense. Sorry but it’s just words you’re saying. Claiming to know anything solid about the dmt experience is simply ego.

      @@kennypowers3654 - The thing is…. When your in the DMT realm, the normal world that we are usually in (our ordinary waking state) somehow feels painfully fake. It’s hard to describe…. it’s like being in a simulation.
      And you observe these hyperbolic shapes you didn’t know could exist (and yet have always somehow known exist) melt into each other and grow out of each other with such sophisticated, mind blowing intricacy - I don’t know, I think we must be somehow witnessing a higher dimension.

      Then why do sooooo many people say this who have tried DMT. The people with NDE experiences also all day the same thing. we don’t even know what real is. Think about your dreams for instance… those feel “real” at times don’t they? Well then who’s to say life’s not a dream. Reality is actually not what most people tend to think it is.

    I just want to know if there can be dire health consequences after an accidental beyond hero dose. I made the fatal error of taking a hit off my ash collector from a dab rig where dmt had been collecting. I've done dmt many many times. Always enjoyable. But that experience was different. I saw my hand disappear and thought I was dead being in a bright white void which felt like eternity having insane panic attacks. Eventually it wore off but I was in a different place then where I normally go. Ever since then I've been pussy footing doing it again. But I haven't stopped making it so I definitely have enough to hold me thru the end of days. When I smoke now I only feel like certain doom is gonna come making it unenjoyable . Ya I'm stupid but dmt did so much for me b4 that experience that I wanna go back to that. I learned my lesson not to hit off ash collector. I need to no if I I can do permanent damage or getting lost in that world or lost in my head. It sounds wild I'm sure

    To be or not to be that is the answer mate. Mate its not a drug man I've been to the dance on every thing. Im a gd tripper. The main defining fact is all others are scrambling infected with chaos, confusing. This is sobering vape dmt in low doses don't break through slip through. Helps you navigate better. Plus no intoxication side effects. You don't want to get fucked you want to wake up. Thats how!! your spot on with your perception. Just jump start that third eye. Its just there after that. Its a two way thing you have to respect it. Play some OM in background a source of natural light is important. You want to know more because you know more already. Time to see it my man. Its the reflection that is key. Coming back from impossible with a picture is the skill. 1st puff. It presents you first with surprise. (Seeing the door)I always see a glitch then super clarity. Wait 6 min then 2nd puff (knocking on the door)close your eyes you want to know and see repeatedly in your mind with meaning. You will hear a high pitch sound like when you do balloons. it like the chipmunks giggling cos it's fast high pitch getting faster so fast it becomes a tone. Impossibly fast you start resonating strangely across your chest then familiarise your self there. New colours. Ever found yourself responding to a question nobody asked? On hearing your response known the question. Seeing impossible is hypnotic. Take pure desire true test of will to snapout of amazing. You have to want to understand more i asked for help to comprehend and i got it but to have the control to just think coherently is the challenge. Its goes up in levels increments each one more impossible then the last. I remember looking down to the left seeings a finite rectangle 2 dimensional with a black and white pattern in motion swirling like marble in an infante dance of is and isn't. I vividly remember thinking ooooh so thats what infinity looks like🙄🤭💫🃏👍💥☯️🤤😉
