Product Description "HERBI-CHANVRE DIRECT SOWING":
Selective sowing mulch for growing seeds above it. Thanks to the remarkable properties of mulches from Géochanvre technology, we have developed a specific product for sowing. It involves sowing seeds on top of the HERBI’CHANVRE DIRECT SOWING mulch, which prevents the weeds underneath from growing. The roots of the seedlings, on the other hand, grow through the mulch when properly installed (see details on the back).
Recommended Installation Method:
Set up a controlled environment to limit any disturbance risks (e.g., under shelter) and prepare the soil well to optimize contact areas.
Unroll the HERBI’CHANVRE DIRECT SOWING mulch by hand or with a roller.
Sow the seeds with a seeder, using a cellulosic paper like Isitop, or with a plugger.
Cover with 1 to 2 cm of soil, compost, or sand.
Set up an irrigation system by sprinkling or drip to keep the mulch moist during germination. Water 3 to 4 times a day.
