I’m imagining at the end when Spinel shatters her, she just falls to the floor in tears because she just killed her best friend, even if said friend abandoned her for thousands of years. Spinel is the kind of character to go batshit crazy and then regret doing it when she realizes she’s all alone. Also... ooooof the expressions and the bit where Spinel’s shadow looms over pink was very unsettling. Great work though honestly!

You know, an alternate way of writing this story would be to have Pink return, have Spinel be happy to see her then have her tie Pink up and say "Now we are going to spend forever together...happy...like we were before" and she uses the scythe on both of them, returning their memories back to when, in Spinels tortured mind, were both happy. That would be a tragic way to end the story...Spinel gets her friend back and you end with both gems on the floor together again...

Ummm don’t forget pink diamond is still a diamond She never show her power before and most of we see is in Steven and in the future he have a pink power that could easily beat jasper and have a unbreakable shield and can turn to a corrupted form that stronger then the diamonds so if they in a battle there no way spinel will win she may have the I forgot how to spell it so I gotta say weapon so her weapon can poof a gem in a second but they are just weaker form of gems it just like yellow diamond electric zap but more deadly and you see yellow can’t poof blue with her zap because she a diamond and pink also a diamond so even if spinel used her full power she won’t come close to beat pink diamond.

No doubt in my mind that Pink STILL wouldn’t have regretted her actions, at least not fully, even if this somehow did happen. She consistently showed a fundamental lack of empathy and regard for the feelings and wellbeing of others, even those close to her like Spinel, the Diamonds, the CGs(especially Pearl), and Greg. She did somewhat learn to be a bit more sensitive to these things after meeting Greg, but she was still very much a naturally selfish person. That never changed.

Shattered on ground from impact(it’s actually the shatter-myself trick) and Rose pretends that she(the Rose Quartz solider) has lost conciseness and the last thing she remembers is PD sending her on a mission to protect earth. Leaving spinel with a reason to hurt Steven(he is PD) The Diamonds to blast earth(PD still died there) and allowing her to still fake death to live on earth as Rose
