I've had natural curls ever since i was little, and I dont at all mean that I feel superior to the ladies with straight hair. Straight hair is gorgeous.
but training it and forcing it to curl just isnt a thing. if it doesnt curl when you get it wet, it just isnt curly...
So I was doing this and it wasn’t working for me either and my mom who is a hairdresser was like girl that isn’t real some people’s hair hair doesn’t get as greasy lmaooo I also notice that when I have highlights my hair doesn’t get as greasy as quick because it’s dryer from the highlights and more greasy with my natural color
i seriously don’t believe in training your hair bc naturally i have very oily hair/scalp, and i do club swim, so no matter what to keep my hair feeling healthy and clean i’m washing my hair everyday. like what do people mean, oh im gonna sweat horribly but im actually not gonna wash my hair bc i don’t want to get it off schedule. like no babe that’s just grody

I wash my hair every single day, sometimes twice cause I live in the Philippines and I was just brought up like that. Hair is dirty. It gets most of the dust, dirt, and sweat. Especially if someone is active. I just like to stay that way Hhahaha

That baby is absolutely adorable. Ava try temporary color. I know weird but wearing the temp hair color for a few days and see how it works out. Can't wait to see the back yard changes. Imagining a nice hammock/lounge chair for reading.
I wash my hair once a week and it’s a game changer. I personally just double wash it when I do wash it and I’ve noticed that has helped it stay less dirty
And then I also try to use hair oils like 2x a week

I have naturally curly hair (like 4a-4b), and I wash it about once a week, but sometimes, after more sweaty workouts, I'll wash it every maybe 3-4 days

I wash my hair like every 3-4 days, I tried to train my hair but found leaving it dirty for more than 5 days really clogged my pores, made it super itchy, caused so much dandruff and wouldn’t grow. But I know training works for some people.
Ik I have a diff hair type than you, but I still wanted to answer. Because of my hair type I usually go 2 weeks between washes. If I feel like I accumulated too much build up from workouts then I might have to wash earlier than the 2 weeks :)
As someone who recently bleached their hair again, just don’t. The texture is never the same! Especially if u have wavy hair

as someone who decided to try blonde hair from a dark brown color. DON'T DO IT! its so much maintenance to keep up with. Also, i think personally your dark hair suits you really well! if anything, a chocolate brown would look really good on you too if you want to dye ur hair. I am also a person who chronically grows my hair out and then cuts it to my shoulders and i LOVE IT esp cause my hair is curly and can get very heavy and i tend to put it up all the time

As a hairstylist I have a few things to say.
Start with if you do color your hair, BALAYAGE!!! Very easy to grow out so if you hate it you can easily go back to you natural hair. Not as damaging. Low maintenance. Low upkeep. 👩🍳💋
& Washing your hair when it feels dirty IS the perfect schedule. 2-3 times a week is a good average to have. If you let build up happen on your scalp your hair WONT grow. I HATE that dirty hair is advertised to help people grow out their hair because it has the opposite effect.
