This is my high school’s bell Edit: There are no warning/tardy bells at my school. This is our school day bell, class bell, class dismissal bell, and school dismissal bell. School starts at 7:15 am, and we have 9 40 minute periods. School ends at 2:10 pm. We have 5 minutes to get to each class.
@@singinglift409 A tardy bell sounds at the end of the class change period. if you do not get to class by the time it rings, you're late. warning bells usually sound a minute before the tardy bell to clear the halls/bathrooms.

I've never heard of that before, but it reminds me of how my highschool's tone generator started to get really scratchy at random times and led to (sometimes) shortened chime lengths at random, until the intercom hardware completely failed and was replaced..
