I wonder if there is a way to reduce that a bit, maybe the position of the lens. If that detail could be corrected, I would undoubtedly start doing this project to give it some real use. I could see this technique being used to make a bedside projector clock. I've had a projector clock by our bed for many years. It's so handy. This one is super simple though. It only projects the time in the color red. A full-color one would be cool. That's if the watch can be made to stay on and not auto shut off. The big problem I see for me, is where to find the lenses.

The image is approximately 85 inches tall. I would like to place a lens on the light output to make the image larger. it's fake BS. a projector with 2 point light sources would never produce a single clear image. let alone using cut up bits of a fresnell lends
