I'm new to v bands and was test fitting my downpipe on the engine stand, and could not get the ends to stay centered due to it being a female to female connection. Your gasket is gonna save me some major headaches!
Just a thought, if you were to do the same concept but using a copper gasket between the male and female section that slips over the male end, obviously itll be a thinner material but could potentially save cost
Good idea. Wish I woul dhave known before I put my clamps together. Right now Im having to resort to muffler cement wedged in between to avoid leaking.
Great idea Mike, are you going to put them on your build? I'd like to see them in action. I already bought all of my clamps, but if they leak I'm buying these to replace them for sure
bad ass I love people who make things better and make things to be maintained and repaired. Screw CHINA and their throw away crap. just subscribed! this was the first time visiting your channel. thank you
I tried useing those thinking they would be better than vbands and I really don't like them. You have the stupid little gaskets to put in them and they don't align very good and if you take them apart you need to put in a different gasket because they always break and fall apart.
Man, I’ve been talking with the tech support on Shopify about this very topic. They tell me it’s fine 🤷♂️. Like, “these are not the droids you’re looking for” can you send me a screenshot of what’s going on. You can do on Facebook at Facebook.com/monkeyfab Also what computer/ browser You can try on a phone, seems to have the least problems
@@MonkeyFabGarage Oh, wonderful Shopify. All the pictures and the rest are there, just no text so it's impossible to navigate. I've got cookies blocked so I added the site to the safe list and refreshed but it did no good so I don't think that's the issue but I'm not an IT guy. I'm using chrome on my windows computer, windows explorer didn't work either. As it turns out I don't think these are what I need, I didn't realize they needed to be welded on. I'm looking to replace u-bolt style clamps with something better and I'd like to check out your other products.
do you think that the copper ring will resist the heat directly at the turbo outlet?
Love all the monkey fab products. Innovative, made in America, and supports vets. What more could you ask for?! Keep it up!!
Man I just saw this. I could use this for my turbo set up. Great work sir.
These are a great idea, wish you shipped to Aus though.
Will the copper o-ring not work with the male and female fittings? I just bought a set before I found your video

Bought these. I hope they do well. Because now I have two female ends. On the other hand can change the gasket. So so many options
How did they work? Any concerns? I am looking into these. Thanks

This is awesome! Once I decide to redo my dooky hood exit with something pretty, I'll go this route!

Anyone use these vbands before? How are they holding up?
Wow, what an idea! These are slicker than donut grease.
Dat bob shirt doe
How am I just learning about this?
These would sure be a necessity for those who over weld their flanges !

I will definitely be purchasing them when I redo the exhaust on my nova!!
would this work with a male/female flange?
What up Mike, I will definitely need a 5” version. Also will be picking up some 3” ones. Thanks bro.
Just ordered some.
Man I just bought 3 of your vbands a week ago I wish I would have seen these before I got mine lok
why not use marman flanges?
