Gaddafi's idea was too ambitious and would eventually fail, he wanted the whole Africa to unite at once, this sounds good but it's too ambitious and to a large extent unrealistic. The realistic objective to work on is for regional integration first and then integrating the regions afterwards. You eat an elephant 🐘 piece by piece and eventually the whole of it.... It's much easier to integrate a region than the whole continent, let's be true to ourselves. Integrating the whole continent was much achievable back in the days when most African countries were gaining their independence but nevertheless we shall get there.
