In 4 days they celebrate their 10th anniversary (that's what 6/19 refers to in Moonbyul's Gogobebe rap). You've got 100's of songs, dozens of group, solo and subunit albums and about a zillion hours of fantastic live performances to look forward to. And as though their vocal talent wasn't enough they also have more songwriting credits than any girl group in kpop history. "They're all main vocalists." You're not wrong, Moonbyul went on a singing competition for rappers and just blew everyone else away. One of the judges who didn't know Mamamoo asked Moonbyul if she was the main vocalist. She's only the 4th best, but that's only because the other three are so incredible.
This was actually the first ever Killing Voice. Previously it had only been a show for soloists but they really wanted to do it so they basically forced Dingo to make a show for them.

I really enjoyed your reaction. Killing Voice as a series was actually created for Mamamoo becaus Solar kept bugging them to go on the older series Killing Verse, which was aimed at soloists. You cannot go wrong on how you approach choosing their MV's to react to. I would recommend that you watch a guide fairly soon. There are 3 main choices Purple Hawks has the most about each individual member. Moo_YT has more about the group and is more recent. Why Mamamoo is the Most Underrated Group, is best for their impact on the Kpop industry.
You should also watch their Immortal Songs Medley soon. This is their ultimate vocal flex. It's a concert clip from 2017. Immortal Songs is a competition show where the contestants cover songs by famous Korean artists. While this has changed somewhat in the last few years, idol group were generally looked down on. Mamamoo starting in their rookie year won the hearts of the audience with their incredible performances and became the first girl group to win. They eventually appeared on the show 14 times, plus Solar did once as an individual and won 3 times. The show performances are well worth watching but reactions to them will be blocked unless you are good at video manipulation.
Moonbyul, Wheein and Solar all had individual comebacks (Solar had her second solo win on the music shows) earlier this year. Hwasa is having one in July. Moonbyul and Wheein are currently on world tours individually. Last year Mamamoo toured the US for the first time and one of the fan favorite sections was when they covered each other's solo songs. Nobody else has ever done that.

agree with you. Mamamoo is my comfort group. They don’t have that anxious, inexperience, innocent, trying to not do anything wrong of the younger groups. They just chilled and you can just dive into the music with them. As someone who has alway found Maleficient hotter than Aurora, this is my taste

Mamamoo is the REASON there IS a "Killing Voice", they were the FIRST. And it's one of the reasons it's so short.
Before them it was The "Killing Verse" and featured ONLY Rappers.
Speciffically "The Killing Voice" exists because of Solar. SOLAR(w/Mamamoo) wanted to join 'Killing verse' but WASN'T accepted.
So Dingo Music created 'Killing Voice' and Called MAMAMOO. Their video currently has the most Killing Voice views... we need a second one. LOL

mammamoo is raw and real...hwasa was turned down from a label in her prime due to her larger figure! this group beat all the odds and all the nay sayers. this is why i love this group! but before them was the female group big mama. black pink learned from mammamoo n mamamoo learned from big mama. and all this came from a mix off black and korean seoul.
