I've previously encouraged everyone to watch how Josie miraculously brings Toni back from the verge of death and this is the link to see her do her magic. She definitely acts like she is very used to people and baths. Even closed her eyes when you washed her head, as if the soap might get in them. They had her for more than a few days.
I wonder if ferret shampoo would work well for them? Ferrets have very dry itchy skin and require as little bathing as possible with exceptionally gentle shampoo (otherwise they overproduce oil and the oil is what makes them so musky)
This was so heart warming 🥰 perfect Thanksgiving episode! 🥳 It’s so amazing how resilient these monkeys are and the phenomenal level of care these little monkeys receive. Best care anywhere! These monkeys are so great when you watch and observe them you would never even guess the various things that happened to em in their earlier life. Watching and observing them you would guess these were wild natural born and raised monkeys. The level of care and success of your program and the foundation as a whole is a testament of this. Monkeys are not meant to be pets. They belong in the wild. Even though they are cute as babies they grow fast and become hard to handle. Many of the babies at Vervet Monkey Foundation were pets and it didn't take long for them to be dumped by the side of the road. Sometimes people bring them to the Foundation with stories of finding them by the road or in the forest but the babies are used to people and already used to a bottle. They even have diaper rash.

You are doing God’s work, the efforts and sacrifices you go through to give these monkeys a chance at new life is amazing!
