My two best tips for poor tinglers: 1.) Close your eyes and imagine the sound is behind you. This is especially effective with scratching and whispers for me, if I can convince myself they're behind me it doubles the tingle effect. ✨ 2.) Take a break from ASMR and come back later. When I'm not feeling the tingles like I think I should, I take a two-week-long break from ASMR content, totally cold turkey. When I come back everything feels almost new again. 🎉 Obviously everyone is different, these won't necessarily work for everybody, but they could be worth a try! 💕
I've heard the take a break one a lot too and for some people it really helps- but I almost never get tingles and I could go months without watching asmr again and still get no tingles im not sure why- any tips on that?
@@BarbieFlesh6928 so for me, I get no tingles without headphones. The sound has time to spread out before you can really experience the tingles. If you’re not already, I would try using headphones. That way, you get to hear each sound like it is right in you’re own ears!
I rarely, if ever get a proper tingle out of ASMR. But it is still pleasant stimulation. I'd say that for me, ASMR is more about entertaining my ears and exploring 'noises'. Some of these noises are 'very' stimulating to the point that I do get something akin to a chill. I noticed a discernible response to the sounds from 7 onwards that had a greater effect on me, so I guess 7 is where I'm at. I listen to a lot of ASMR, it's a nice way to stimulate your ears/hearing.
What I really enjoy is both the ears not being simultaneously being simulated, perhaps taking turns etc. A mixture of them all, also visual tingles are great too. Seeing those metal rods and nails going through the texture of the mic was awesome.

In my experience, it is not just the sounds and visuals but the way the person is watching that gives tingles. If I'm in bed or laying down, it's easier to get tingles than if I were at my desk doing nothing. A comfy chair (I use a bean bag chair), alone in a dark room, wrapped in a blanket, provides the best tingles for me.

As a person who has never tingled before I coincidentally fell most satisfied with ASMR with triggers at the Newbie, Beginner, Elementary, and Invincible stages. Those were the triggers that always give me a feeling of satisfaction or something closing to tingles but I have never experienced it. This is quite interesting.
im 100% immune to tingles i would love to tingle to feel how it is but no matter what any asmr i watch doesn't make me tingle but i still watch asmr cause of the good sounds
I only started listening to ASMR at all a couple of months ago, and this quickly became one of my favorite channels. I only get the tingles very rarely, even with stuff that's worked before - my mind has to be in the right frame to manage it before I start. This is a fantastic channel to fall asleep too though, because even without the tingles the sounds are really soothing.
I'm a platinum lvl asmr enjoyer that used to be immune to tingles but fortunately after trying several different methods I finally managed to unlock my tingles thanks to bakery😊❤🔑 Pro tip: if you're someone who no matter how hard you try can't get any tingles, try to relax your mind and strongly avoid thinking about the source of the sound/what thing is making that sound and just focus your mind on the sound only I hope It can help some of you✌
i usually try imagining something that might make that sound, for example i imagine sand falling from somewhere for triggers that would sound like that

I've become more or less immune to tingles but I continue to find ASMR extremely soothing. I tend to gravitate toward artists who are committed to their craft and produce quality material, such as yourself. I've been watching ASMR for years now, since it was first posted on YT. That may not make me an expert but I'm definitely a veteran. BTW, I cringe at the sight of shoddy nails. Your manicures are absolutely perfect. I love the color as well as the length and shape of your nails. Beautiful and soothing.
My tip for getting back your tingles is to make sure you're not too warm! Ideally there should be a little airflow on some part of your skin, arms, neck, to help with getting those nice tingly goosebumps.

I have only experienced ASMR from having conversations with people over the phone and it doesn't happen often. I've never been able to trigger it with these types of videos even though they are incredibly relaxing.

Applaud the effort, but beyond invincible at this point. Nothing really makes me tingle anymore, been like this for a long while, gone through many videos of massage asmr, asmrmagic, surge, and many others. Nowadays I listen and watch ASMR just to.. listen and watch, they're nice. The only thing close to tingles I will get is just goosebumps from the cold, which is different. Maybe there are still some triggers to find.

@@cuuplocing3898 the few times I've had it it lasted anywhere from a few days to a couple weeks or so. The best cure I've found is to use an external speaker instead of headphones/earbuds. Gives a different more subtle kind of tingle
@@cuuplocing3898 usually tingle immunity can be cured by taking a tingle break, try not listening to asmr for a couple days or weeks if necessary, if you can't sleep in silence use rain sounds instead, after your tingle break your immunity should be cuted or atleast lessened enough to where you get tingles again (note that this does not work for eveyone it's just a general way to regain tingles)
I watched my very first asmr video in 2015... (time is gone wtf) Since three years (or more) I dont get tingles anymore, just sometimes if my alltime favorit trigger hits the spot. But I still enjoy asmr so much😊
Just a little thing that I think is weird about my tingles, idk if this is normal or not but I usually have to watch ASMR for like 3-5 minutes (I never counted, that’s just a guess) to get tingles
Some people just don’t experience tingles and there’s honestly nothing you can do about it. Maybe your body is like super immune and that’s it, try finding something that just suits you best

for me i do get tingles but only from specific things- usually sounds behind me or to my right, and it only makes one part of my back tingle

I've been listening to asmr nearly every night for 5+ years and I've only experienced tingle immunity a few times thank the gods. I got tingles through the whole video so I can't wait for the full version 😍
how long does immunity last? i don't get tingles much anymore and when I do there are weak. what do you do to get rid of immunity?
@@cuuplocing3898 the few times I've had it it lasted anywhere from a few days to a couple weeks or so. The best cure I've found is to use an external speaker instead of headphones/earbuds. Gives a different more subtle kind of tingle
@@cuuplocing3898 usually tingle immunity can be cured by taking a tingle break, try not listening to asmr for a couple days or weeks if necessary, if you can't sleep in silence use rain sounds instead, after your tingle break your immunity should be cuted or atleast lessened enough to where you get tingles again (note that this does not work for eveyone it's just a general way to regain tingles)

I usually never have the patience to watch an entire ASMR video without getting distracted, but this.. My tingle immunity is cured
I watched my very first asmr video in 2015... (time is gone wtf)
Since three years (or more) I dont get tingles anymore, just sometimes if my alltime favorit trigger hits the spot. But I still enjoy asmr so much😊
If you don’t ‘try not to tingle‘ those videos really help getting your tingles back :)

Just a little thing that I think is weird about my tingles, idk if this is normal or not but I usually have to watch ASMR for like 3-5 minutes (I never counted, that’s just a guess) to get tingles
The last trigger really caught me off-guard with a bunch of tingles LOL

Some people just don’t experience tingles and there’s honestly nothing you can do about it. Maybe your body is like super immune and that’s it, try finding something that just suits you best
