    Very helpful videos! Thank you so much!
    I'm just a beginner, I forgot all my Greek from school ;-) So I learn a lot through your videos, which is great! 💜
    I have a question on this:
    20:43 Why isn't an article used with _anipsios_ while _anipsia_ had one?
    _(sorry i can't write the greek letters on my phone)_

    οι αδελφοι and η αδελφη sound the same while spoken, can this cause some misunderstanding ? ~ thankyou ~

    • @linaaaap1
      @linaaaap1  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, they sound the same. But the verb endings as always save the day. And this happens with many other words that sound the same (η φίλη, οι φίλοι). Also, in this particular example, it would be more usual to use the neuter noun "τα αδέλφια" instead of "οι αδελφοί". It applies to brothers, sisters, or brothers and sisters. In any case, if you think that there might be a misunderstanding and the context doesn't help, you can explain further, by saying for example, "και οι δυο αδελφοί μου" (both my brothers), or "η αδελφή μου η Μαρία" (my sister Mary) etc.

    Hi Lina, you said sister in law is η κουνιαδα and also Η νυφη, which one is correct?

    • @linaaaap1
      @linaaaap1  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi, they are both correct! I explain the differences in the video but here's a quick review: Let's say I'm married to a man and he has a sister. For me, his sister is my "κουνιάδα". But for her, I am her "νύφη". Hope this helped a bit more! :)
