So i have a 77 celica and a r154 laying around got a question for you since you experienced both 1jz and 1uz which motor would you recommend aiming for 500 to 600 whp celica weights 2500 lbs....I've driven a 1uz ra65 was nice and torquey but i also ridden shotgun on a 1jz 264 cam 67mm tbb turbo was crazy fast it was putting down about 480 whp.....so im a bit torn between the two motors? ?
I am also curious as to if your internals are stock and what other modifications it has. I plan on using the S300G on my 1UZ Lexus as well but I don't know if what all internals I will need to his 16psi. Any advice would be appreciated.
50desoto1 probably stock. good friend of mine makes identical power running a s366 as well at 16 psi running 93.. just got done doing some small upgrades and is hitting the dyno sometime today actually looking for improvement. should be right around the mid 650's at the same boost levels.
I know the 1uz's can handle a good amount of power above stock setup. Were the internals stock in this video?

what injectors are those? i saw your thread they were 875cc but didnt mention brand. i dont rust many aftermarket or scared they might not fit

With an adapter plate & 1uz bellhousing yes
