OMG, a bit over the top. Beautiful gown. My parents wouldn't allow me to have a white carpet down the aisle. They said it was too expensive. I couldn't keep my dress which my dad paid for bc my mom said she needed to have it for my five younger sisters, which none of them chose to wear it. Nothing seemed to go right, and I divorced 41 years later, only wishing the wedding never took place.

They divorced after 36 yrs and I thought that was a long time...............Nothing is ever final until U R dead so U may get married again but even if U don't U can have a special dress made for your next birthday and invite all your freinds and relatives..... U, AND your relatives may ask why as U R no longer married? What is their to celebrate? It's because it is not celebrating marraige IT IS ABOUT CELEBRATING YOU !!!!! Be happy, enjoy the rest of your life. If U stayed in a marraige for 41 years U were not happy with U deserve happiness now. CELEBRATE YOU !!!!!!!
Then when you were given conditions you should have said thanks but I will pay for what I want. And being told you had to share a dress would have been a quick trip to an elopement.
Eileen McDonald I was without a job to pay for anything. I think the white carpet was viewed as frivolous or extra expense. So, I let it go. My mom always held a poverty mentality, a deficit, and there was never enough in a family of fourteen.
Seriously where do people like this get there money from! There’s people out there who can’t even afford something like this yet waste a lot of money on this just to prove you love someone doesn’t mean! It’s a bloody rich competition
