    SVU has taught me several things.
    1. Question everything.
    2. Pay attention to the voice.

    4. Never trust the words every time.
    5. Always have a search warrant ready.

    I used to work security at a college dorm. I overheard a group of sorority girls talking about how they felt bad for giving a pledge alcohol poisoning. We didn't know who the girl was so all we could do was log it. I've hated sororities ever since.

    I love how they showed how toxic sororities can be, it's why I don't want to be in one myself. I know the good they can do and the bonds they can form, but the danger of conforming is outrageous. I could never imagine helping a girl be raped

    • @greekchick104
      @greekchick104 3 ปีที่แล้ว +171

      They definitely can be, but I also think the media portrays greek life based on stereotypes and it's not always the most accurate. As someone who is in a sorority, you really have to trust your gut to know what sororities are worth joining based on the vibe you get from current sisters of that sorority when you meet them and talk with them. That's really what it comes down to. It's definitely not perfect and good all the time, but all the benefits you get definitely outweigh the bad. I hope this gives you some perspective! :)

      There are many people on TH-cam that will take an episode of Law & Order or Criminal Minds, etc, and will discuss that episode and show clips of specific scenes to prove their point. There are others that will take movie clips and will discuss the entire movie. That is fair use, those accounts are still up.

We’re mostly seeing the events of those shows and movies through one point of view which is mostly the main character. Plus some of those people in those shows and movies actually exist in one form or another. Like people like those two college girls trying to hide the evidence isn’t unrealistic especially with the amount of pettiness with their motives for doing what they did.
