Thanks for your comment. I watched yours as well! well done! If you would take a bit softer mallets and a bit more risk in soft and loud dynamics your sound would increase a lot. Maybe you can also 'risk' the end in speeding up? My guess is that's why it's called restless...
What size are the double helix mallets you used for this performance? I plan on playing Restless for solo and ensemble season and loved the sound these mallets produced. I need to make sure they are soft enough because my percussion director freaks out when mallets are too hard on the rosewood!
I got u 👊👊...ive been using these mallets for a couple months now....the whole double helix line is amazing..just really expensive.they have this new line called round sound thats pretty cheap though.
Hi, These are Marimba double Helix mallets. I love the sound they make and they are very easy to play with. (which is nice for this kind of piece)
