When I cook mine,I put a little flour coating,,let them brown,, then I put the lid on,turn them low... I also like onions salt pepper.. Great with hot crunchy corn bread, beans,,maybe tuna salad. That some good eating. Need side plate of raw onion,sliced tomato,,peppers,radish,cucumber,whatever you got!!! Amen

My dad would make fried potatoes in the morning, with the leftover baked potatoes from the night before. I loved when he made them. He made them a lot when we were camping.
Just made me some 2 days ago it was funny i was craving them with onions oh my goodness they were so good . Thank you for craving them too .now i dont feel to crazy. 😮
North of Asheville.. I could eat some form of potatoes every day. In fact my grandpa did......boiled with salt pepper and butter. My daddy made the best fried potatoes.....he cooked them very low as well.
I had a runny nose and sneezing Christmas Day. 😢 But it only lasted about 36 hours and I was happy for that. Hope your nose feels better soon Brenda.😊❤
Good afternoon, Brenda. Those taters look delicious. I too crave potatoes, especially in the winter. Good ole comfort food. Potatoes and onions are a match made in heaven. I've recently been craving my moms scalloped potatoes with ham and onions. She layered potato slices, ham and onion in a enameled roaster. But from there I think all she did was sprinkle flour in and pour in milk. She didn't make a sauce or anything. It was delicious but it didn't really thicken properly. This was before I started cooking and learned how to make a roux. I wish she would have written down her recipes. I really miss the dishes she made when we were growing up. I’m a widow too brenda and I make sure I have French fries in my freezer or fresh potatoes cause sometimes that’s all I want for myself , or I’ll throw some cheese sometime on it and onions
