A blue one with 119k just popped up near me for 9k and I had no idea they exist. Plan on buying it this weekend haha. What a crazy deal these things still are.
@@Nexus_gt35 yes I got an alto grey 2011 9c3!! Love it!!!! Have done headers and taken the motor down to the pistons. Cam coming soon just wanna drive it a bit while I save.
@@Nexus_gt35 a LOT can happen in a year. I literally spoke it into existence. Got it for a good deal down in Orlando(5500 needed a fender and bumper which I replaced, title still clean!! Lol) and have enjoyed it ever since. Have had it about 8 months.
I own a WM 6L caprice here in New Zealand. Here they are based off the commodore but are a longer wheel base. They're a luxury car designed with the rear passenger in mind with a larger rear door for ease of access, rear controls for climate and entertainment etc. They were mostly government cars and corporate taxis. The PPV is a low grade version produced for US police orders.
The ppv used here in the states has enough rear leg room for the tallest and most robust human. Might as well get a real luxury vehicle instead of a ppv caprice.
No the Caprice is basd on Holden statesman not Commodore, Commodore is lumina, In middle east it's so pupplar, we have it as Chevrolet Caprice, LS, LT, LTZ, SS, royal all are the same engines and HP 360 V8 6.0, but different futures it was their from 2000-2016, Also there was a car named Chevrolet lumina it based on Holden Commodore 2000-2013 And it's more good looking, more sporty looking then Caprice
3:09 there are not other variants just 1 you left out for a few seconds, the G8 SS both swb and sequential models then the caprice, any thing else in the road is modified version of those 3.
Have a 16 limited and a caprice and I will have to say if you like the impala get the caprice they are such great cars only issues is finding weird parts but you can get them shipped in from aus
1:35 I knew soon as I seen the pipes… I’m looking at the front & idk how I missed this but I do remember seeing a ( concept? ) SS Impala same front but wide n mean… (thinner headlights) back end was a bit different as well
The Chevy🇺🇸2006/17 Caprice🚨PPV "SLEEPER" front & rear end can still be "AWAKENED" with the Holden🇦🇺2006/17 HSV WM Grange E-Series (1, 2 & 3) &/or Gen-F (1 & 2) body🏁kit!!!
I like chevy's but they dont push their cars to thw potential they should be. This could of been a hellcat killer or the impala but they always dumbing down the horsepower. Say like the zl1 had the same horsepower for 7 years. All my cars are chevy's but they don't know how to market and give the buyers what they want.
360 Hp. Not. Maybe 340. Great car. Handling is tight too. And you will never get 25 MPG even with deactivation of cylinders. Never! Had a 2011 brand new- sold with 85k miles. No issues. Go Australia! Holden. Like a G8. Pro Bass- made in China. Lol
This is exactly what the impala was supposed to be around the late 2000s. Hence the name being “ caprice “. Love the review man
Mate it’s our Australian Holden Carprice
@@darrenbright6030 I know lol. I was saying the impala we had in America around this time should’ve been a rwd v8 like this Holden

I'm selling my car at the end of the year to hopefully find a decent one of these in the 8 to 10k range. Looking to do heads cam exhaust.. can't wait
Did you end up getting one?

I like the Chevrolet logo more than Holden logo on the car even pontiac G8 logo is better than Holden logo
Not gonna lie this car is lowkey so cool lol
ehh it’s alright

I have a wn2 with a ls3. Sucks you guys only got L77’s but makes sense for fleet having dod and e85
I bought a cheap trailblazer SS as my first car it’s in bad condition. Now looking for either one of these or a 2006-10 Srt8 Jeep
my 2015 expedition ain’t nothing to sleep on either..but I love this caprice too though
Lmfao
@@MediocreMotorsports....yo that twin turbo kicks...has the acceleration of a V8
These are based on Holden's "Statesman" platform.
Holden Caprice and Holden Statesman
Statesman is the luxed out caprice
Might be flipping my 2010 Impala 91c for one of these. Gotta keep my p71 vic.

I like the 3.6 liter V6 version.
Love it! i want one as a daily but they are super expensive in south florida
That Chevy is still made, it's called the CTS6 V from Cadillac.
Actually it’s not. This car is an Australian import and the closest thing to it is the Chevy SS…another Holden import.
I just found out the Chevy made a caprice between 2011 to 2017 a few months ago… before then I never knew it existed
the 2017 got 500hp stock
It’s actually a Holden imported from Australia.
Hey man your video looks great what setup do you use for video & audio ?
First mod I’m going full straight pipe no cats
And below the Holden carprice it’s really a Holden Statesman as the Statesman model is a model below the Carprice
I have a 2011 Caprice.doing headers and ts cam oil delete dod delete
Is this basically the same body/car as the g8 gt?
Reason I’m asking is because I can’t find any window moldings for my 07g8.
Only from the a to b pillar externally, and a pillar forward underneath the body work
much love from australia 🇦🇺🇦🇺
still reckon if you guys got these in the luxury spec like we have here, they would have sold like hotcakes
#capricev
I agree!! Closest we can get to that would like a G8 or SS each in top trim.
@@redlinedyl SS only has 3 options. Sunroof, manual, and spare wheel. Most come with sunroof and wheel.
So you said you aren't keeping it. Is it for sale?
Do you know how easily the install of the g8 or SS interior would. Would the seats bolt right in?
Dash swap?
The 2014 does the ss swap

If you want a Holden badged steering wheel air bag cover for it I have one, $100USD including shipping
