I remember when the Access Hollywood tape came out, and I thought "No, his voters don't care, he isn't done,". I could already tell by then who they were. They told us all throughout 2016.
@@Joe-sg9ll I am a historian, i actually remember trying to sound the alarm bells on Trump early on, because he reminded me of Mussolini. I didn't know enough about him, so I went and researched Mussolini some more, and was struck by many of the early similarities.
I remember people mostly brushed me off.
I also remember years later, Jan 6, watching and thinking "this is based on Mussolini's March on Rome".
It was. I can 100% guarantee it was. I doubt Trump knew that, but I guarantee Roger Stone and Steve Bannon, Stewart Rhodes and Enrique Tarrior and the rest of that Fascist inner circle knew exactly how and why the March on Rome worked for Mussolini.
And we were 20 feet away from that happening.

Let’s be clear - there were many, many Democrats known to me who flat out Did Not Like Hilary as a person and as a candidate…and those people then voted for Trump. Myself included. Certainly donnie dirt pants and his despicable actions added to the mess….but he was just a baby blip on my electoral screen at the time & I will be forever sorry for throwing away my vote to him. At the time I felt Hilary was simply the wrong choice - but it was a pretty thin Democratic field to pick from. I’ve worked very hard for the Blue side since my poor choice in 2016…and I pray Karma will not be overly harsh with me for that mistake.
