We also have cherry blossoms in Washington DC. Actually they were a gift from Japan. Now every year we have a cherry blossom festival to celebrate the blossoms and japanese culture.

There are cherry trees that blossom in Washington, D.C. USA. They are very famous, and people from all over the U.S. visit D.C. in the spring to see them bloom. Fun fact: these cherry trees were a gift of friendship to the people of the U.S. from the people of Japan in 1912. The trees in D.C. have been thriving ever since.
