I bought one of these for my mother, who wanted the 10 key. The light colors, and different colors based on key type, helps her as she is 94 and has macular degeneration. She loves the feel of it. I have two RK71s, and they work great- nice to have BT and 2.4ghz choice on them along with MAC/PC selection. Switch on bottom is for switching between BT and 2.4ghz (at least on my mom's RK98) - using the dongle you see on the underside. The RK71 works the same. Great for gaming, in 2.4ghz I sit about 8ft from the dongle, gaming in the living room on a big screen, and it works just great. Yes you can buy cheaper, but in this price range, these are a good choice IMO. And I have Corsair gaming keyboards too with Cherry Reds, and these by comparison feel just slightly softer than the Cherrys, more than fine and a lot less $$.

I have a question about the f1-f12 keys do I have to press the fn button and the f1-12 at the same time to use the f1-12 button or do i just have to press the f1-12 Button to use it? Also would you recommend this keyboard?
Function key with them is standard but the special functions like bringing up the calculator etc… then no but it doesn’t work with every computer. My work computer it doesn’t work but my personal laptop they do. Not sure why.
Hi, just a question since I just bought the same keyboard, I noticed that the lighting turns off automatically (to save bat power maybe) when got idle, would you know how to fix this, any solution so that back light will remain on all the time? tia
They do have a software you can download on your computer to do some more custom things. That might have some setting on it. I would also mess with the different lighting settings that are already on it as well. I like that they turn off when idle personally
I got mine and was a bit disappointed with the fact that the letters and characters on the keys don't like up. It's just light behind the keys. I don't like that. But I love everything else.
You can always get new key caps if you want. I have been meaning to make a follow up video as this keyboard is still going strong. I just took off all the key caps to give it a good deep cleaning the a few days ago and it’s basically brand new again.
Mine is having some issues responding to keystrokes or putting them in twice. thats using the dongle. Haven't really tried wired and bluetooth as much but might have to return mine.

The Backlight goes off/sleep mode when in idle. is there anyway to change that setting?
You can cycle through the different settings and on the Amazon listing they have some software you can download. Perhaps they have a setting on that

Is there a way to switch Bluetooth devices/do multiple Bluetooth devices at once?
Not that I am aware of but you don’t need the dongle to connect to it. I just leave the dongle plugged into my docking station so when I am switching between my work and personal laptop on that it switches automatically
@@spencerdoesreviews it finally came in. There’s an option while it’s in Bluetooth mode to connect up to three saved devices and switching back & forth between them is fast & easy!

what is the B and G beside on and off?
Turns the blue tooth on and off since you can use the dongle or the cable. Has a separate on and off switch for the keyboard it self. I always use the dongle plugged into my laptop dock. Makes it faster to switch between my work computer and personal computer since I just plug in a different computer into the dock. So this so I can use my monitors.

@@jameslapuz8265 Please look over the manual as it is on the Royal Kludge website. but do know your computer does not need to have Bluetooth for this keyboard to work. As long as you have a free USB slot you can use the dongle or the cable.
is this good for gaming? nd wat switch for gaming?
Since this can be wired if you want it’s probably pretty good for gaming.
as far as I know, for both wireless gaming Mice and Keyboards, using the 2.4ghz option is great fir gaming even for FPS. I get mine 2 days so I'll try to remember to give feedback on how it performs, but Im sure it will be Awesome and am excited for this board!

It was just the packaging so the keys are not messed up before anyone opens it.

You mean like ones that aren’t this same keyboard? I have reviewed several keyboards and this is the only one that came with a cover like that but it’s also one of the nicer keyboards I have reviewed. Not everything is packaged the same so I don’t really know what to tell you

And most videos for this exact keyboard don’t even show a true unboxing. I don’t know what to tell you, that’s how it came packaged it’s just a cheap thin plastic cover from the packaging.
