Be careful with the spicy stuff! I'm weak when it comes to spice, but sometimes I want it anyway. But a few weeks ago I ate some Flamin Hot Doritos and learned what a cross allergic reaction is. I had been out and exposed myself to a lot of pollen I'm allergic to, but didn't have a reaction. Later in the evening I ate a whole bag of those chips. (Sure, my mouth felt like it was on fire, but I just couldn't stop.) My tongue and face swelled up, some random parts of my body started itching terribly, I got hives all over every part that was exposed when I was out and I was sweating liters. Apparently hot spices can trigger an overreaction if you are sensitive to them, mostly to things you are allergic to, but even stuff you didn't know you were allergic to. At least I didn't swell up so much that I trouble breathing, but I was in itching hell for many hours and my mouth wasn't normal for two days. I have another bag, but I won't touch that. At least for a while... And I won't eat it in one go.

Heh, Morty killing the lighthouse keeper is one of my top fave moments of the show. Though, I don't have much issue with stories starting in media res (the thing he criticized the keeper for), as long as it's handled well enough. But yeah, now we're getting a real glimpse of the toll Rick's influence is having on poor Morty....

I never understood how anyone tolerated those intense spices. I read somewhere that they’re actually meant for people who are heavy drinkers, since apparently large amounts of alcohol consumption reduces your ability to taste food.

I think the most shocking part about Morty pushing the guy, isn't the fact he did it. It's been shown several times that, even with normal teen feelings, he's been getting more angry and frustrated at Rick. So him doing it makes sense, he'd snap at some point. The shocking part is how he handled it. The Morty we first met would've IMMEDIATELY started freaking out, and asked Rick about what to do/how to feel. But now, he wasn't even fazed. He just started screaming at the body.

I mean as someone who cooks a lot of really spicy food. I literally taste no spice for those chips. Like when I'm cooking food for others I have to be careful because my tolerance is really high. Sometimes someone will say my food is really spicy and I can't taste any spice. Then again I live in Texas where spicy Mexican food is everywhere. Both my parents love spicy good. My brother not so much. But yeah it's crazy to me how I could eat something that doesn't tastes like it has no heat whatsoever and someone else could be dying over the heat. It's fascinating. I'd really like to try Indian food someday because of how hot I've heard it is. Also just because I love cooking and part of cooking is trying a bunch of different things.

It's probably the closest thing to a live action Rick and Morty and it would be great to see your reaction. Love the channel !

Its hard to tell how people would behave. I have come to become very cynical over the last 12 years or so. How much of how nice people are is due to the social conditioning we have around us? We humans are carnivores, we are predators. We have killed for a lot more than just meat. However if I given a cow and a tool to kill it and told here is your food. It would be tough to kill it despite how natural it is to do so. Not because we humans are nice, but because I have been sheltered and conditioned against hurting others all my life. Regardless of what animal it may be. If we had one day where the laws would not apply, sure I think we would see a lot of messed up stuff. However its first after people would get used to it that things would really go bad I think. It would take people time to get past their own masks so to say.

Yeah I never understood the purge idea, because all the killers are just complete psychopaths. Real people are for the most part basically good, to get average people to do terrible things you have to convince them that it is for the greater good. Plus it bothers me that in all those purge movies there is never anyone trying to steal anything, or any other crime other than murder. If crime is legal for one night I'm looting not murdering anyone.

You’re not only kidding, you’re a little bit ignorant about “Latino Culture”. Don’t feel bad, a lot of people are! Here’s the deal, though. There is no “Latino Culture”. There’s a buttload of different cultures in the Americas, with different customs and cuisines. You could break it down by country, but even there, you’ll find differences between different regions of a country.
The bottom lines are: there are no monolithic cultures, the concept of “authenticity” is silly, and most of all, ENJOY WHAT YOU LIKE, don’t worry what other people think.
I realize that half of this rant probably doesn’t apply to you, but thank you for reading it. No insult was intended.

Yeah I never understood the purge idea, because all the killers are just complete psychopaths. Real people are for the most part basically good, to get average people to do terrible things you have to convince them that it is for the greater good. Plus it bothers me that in all those purge movies there is never anyone trying to steal anything, or any other crime other than murder. If crime is legal for one night I'm looting not murdering anyone.
