I always thought that there was a starved market for English/Japanese speaking character voice actors in anime. Although I love those moments they make, like in Strongest Disciple Kenichi, when his Karate teacher is like, "You shood hav brot more sword," I absolutely love how knowingly off that is in English, and how proud he is of, "I bet ya did'n know I spoke perfect English, _did'ya!"_ That is _really_ well done! Yet Detective Conan/Case Closed has the best example of this in a background scene, in the form of an American tourist who only speaks a little Japanese (reads none) getting help from a Japanese person that knows conversational English. Somebody to go and better apply to certain characters, or be the voice coach for them (so they don't appear as an outsider taking jobs) to be like, "Here's how I would read the line, give it your own spin, but it would sound like [this]"

For me oliva was nerfed as fuck . He deserve somthing better . Like being More weak than yujiro but being most powerfull in one stat . Like being More strong .but less powerfull in the rest.

They didn’t nerfed him… only Baki and yujiro are above him (maybe pickle and musashi) in terms of strength… remember that oliva is the strength pinnacle of the human race… hanma “aren’t” human, pickle is a prehistoric race, and musashi is a fcking sword killer… yujiro just surpassed him thru the years (this scene was like 25-30years ago from netflix baki)

@@FGCtrash I understand what you mean, but his design and his behaviour now (he rapes around people indiscriminately now) just shows how he's less of an ogre and more of a criminal now, killing for fun using combat techniques is fitting to his character, but no need to put rape in the story just to show his testosterone levels are more than 50 times the normal (I'm talking about baki dou chapters 100-102 I think)

LOL after all these years of enjoying that not-the-best fansub of S2, I can see that Yujiro was actually calling Oliva "Unchained", not "The Black Arrow". I just never paid attention to what was said until now when there was nothing to read. I always wondered where 'black arrow' went x)
@@prayforme4777 In the old fansub from the early 00s when this was new, the subtitle where Yujiro says "Unchained" in bad engrish said "The Black Arrow". The translation had a lot of other errors too, but that stuck out x)
After the first Netflix Season, the use of 3d models (that were very jarring in fights) was reduced or removed in the Raitai Tournament Arc. You should give another look if thats what turned you off.
@@fightingtothepoint4u732 Well he's slow from what we see, but there are moments when Oliva surprises his opponents with his speed. He just has never found a need to do so. Also, he was able to take several point-blank shotgun blasts to his torso no problem. He's at least semi-bullet proof.

After the first Netflix Season, the use of 3d models (that were very jarring in fights) was reduced or removed in the Raitai Tournament Arc. You should give another look if thats what turned you off.

@@fightingtothepoint4u732 Well he's slow from what we see, but there are moments when Oliva surprises his opponents with his speed. He just has never found a need to do so. Also, he was able to take several point-blank shotgun blasts to his torso no problem. He's at least semi-bullet proof.
Well actually you can know that, you can just go to check the mangas, after yujiro and Baki's fight, yujiro visits Oliva and they have a short fight.
Oliva is basically bullet proof and knives and swords can't penetrate his muscle fibers.
