Exactly what we need because we have two steps outside our kitchen door made from paver blocks that are falling apart. One question- did you attach them to the house in any way?
I LIKE IT! Gave me some good ideas. I wonder though if a tiny gap between boards might help with water drainage, and make it last longer? Also, I wish I could find lumber like that. Good job!
Thanks alot for thouse kind words, they sure would if your boards are dryer than mine was, but these boards was so wet that they have created a 4mm gap just for drying this summer.
Yep ... that's what I am going to build; just a question: tread width and height? I"m just going to extend the top landing to 22 inches plus making sure the the lower step is is the proper width. Thank you.
Never attached it to the ledge board, felt that it needed to have the chance to move since wood expand, so the pure weight if the stairs is what keeps it in place and haven't moved one mm since. Thanks for the comment 👍
Just the video I was looking for , great job!
I love building stairs like these. They last forever. I water sealed my boards and 12 years later they still look great.

Why didn't you have to nail down your track saw?
looks great but how are they fastened to the structure so they dont move
Dosent need to be since the pure weight of it is enough to keep it in place, but if u want to just add a screw or two for extra safety

Thank you!🙏
We’re back in the silent film era with jungle screams!
Women are blessed to have men that can build stuff.
It’s true. I think about that all the time.
Thank you. Exactly what I was looking for
How did you attach bottom box to upper box ? And how you attached both of them to wall ?
i was wondering the same thing
Top one is toenailed into the bottom one
Yeah, with one screw. Yikes. Id like a little more security than that personally
@ForestFaerieLaughter
Thank you very much. Laddie didn’t want stringers and this is super simple
nice work. question: how did you end up attaching the stairs to the ledger board?

Beautiful 🎉
Board measurements needed?
Thank You ❤😊
where is the lists of boards needed?
👍👍👍👍
annoying that your measurements are in mm. Otherwise, good looking stairs.
What's wrong with mm? 95% of the world uses the metric system.
We like mm, more accurate.
Very much dislike videos that no one speaks….useless!
